I think this is a fun family experience if you don't mind it being crowded. If you're still not vaccinated or if you're still trying-to avoid crowds during the Pandemic, then this might-not be your favorite location at this current time. This outdoor place is enclosed by netted-fencing, but I didn't notice any safety-measures in-place that would prevent children from wandering-out of the exits. Everyone who works there is kind but I wouldn't depend too-much on the employee's, staff or the Lifeguards keeping your children safe because they all look like very-young teenagers themselves, and I don't notice them being as alert as most of us grown-ups with a protective instinct, so I personally would stay on extra high-alert of the children I've taken there. It's too easy for kids to wander-out of the exit without their own parents, so I think the risk-of abduction is very high. I wish they had a more secure system in-place that could make it more difficult for children to leave without the adults that they came-in with.
There's a $10 fee per Adult and per each Child above age 2. There is a small cafeteria on-site where you can order casual foods (hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, nacho's, etc) and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course) while you are there. Another tip is to BRING A LOCK WITH YOU so you can more-securely put your wallet in one of their open lockers. They don't provide the locks or...
Read moreMy friend came to Rosemeade Waterpark with her two kids for a fun family day, but instead left feeling unsafe, humiliated, and completely unsupported.
She had placed their belongings on three pool chairs, but when she returned from the line, a group had put their stuff directly on top of hers and taken the seats. When she calmly told them the chairs were already taken, they rolled their eyes and dismissed her. She didn’t argue and simply moved her things — but then the group began laughing at her, mocking her in front of her children, and even threatened to beat her up.
She immediately reported the harassment and threats to staff, but security took forever to respond, and when they finally did, management had no idea how to handle the situation. Nothing was done. The group was not removed, and my friend and her kids were left feeling completely unsafe.
This was clearly discriminatory and inappropriate. Families deserve to feel protected, not threatened or ignored. We will never return. Rosemead Waterpark needs serious improvement in handling guest safety, harassment, and...
Read moreSuper fun water play for the whole family. Your kids won’t be disappointed!!!
My kids didn’t want to go home.
From slides and laps pool to jumping boards, to lazy River and lots of fun set up for smaller kids (nice in the shade eh?) Plenty of chairs and tables for dining and resting, I even saw a birthday party, a line of beach/pool bench in the tree shade.
Their price is pretty friendly, $9 per person if you are out of town. Only $6 if you live in Carrollton. Cool isn’t it? The whole place is really spacious and spread out.
Lots of parking. And free. Lockers if you need to put your valuables away.
Life guards are stationed all over the place and they rotation everyone half an hour or so.
Just one comment that I found some trash here and there, even in the pool. Not dirty stuff. Just candy wraps and napkins.
Anyhow, it was our second time there and we definitely come back though we live over half an hour away.
Highly...
