sweetFrog — Attraction in Cary

As a returning customer I was disappointed with my experience this evening. There were 4-5 missing flavors, but potentially that could be because it was about 90 minutes before closing. Several of the flavors came out runny/watery. They were tasty, but some had a runnier than normal consistency.

The biggest disappointment was the price. I have previously been to this location and I do not remember the yogurt being so expensive, so I am wonder if the price recently went up? Several other sweetFrog locations advertise prices of 45-50 cents / oz. This location charges a 20%+ higher rate of 60c/oz. In layman's terms, two full small pink cups of yogurt cost $18.50 without any toppings. I could go to the Harris Teeter's next door and purchase 3 half-gallons of Bluebell + toppings for less than the cost of the two small size cups of Froyo. I'm wondering if the watery yogurt made it heavier than usual and this impacted the weight as 2lb of yogurt seems like a lot. Looking at it in a small cup however, does not look like a large amount. Regardless, the 60c/oz price is 20% higher than the competition.

The staff were friendly at this location and the store was clean, thus my star rating should not reflect them. Unfortunately, I worry that the expensive pricing and inconsistent quality yogurt will cost this...

Went here as a bday treat. My friend asked the worker for a spoon assuming we could do samples. After maybe 1 or 2 spoonfuls of froyo samples, a worker in a frog hat and tie dye shirt let us know that samples like this were not allowed, and just stood still and stared at us in an intimidating way, until she finally asked “we good?” . She then continued to be on the phone while staring at me and all my friends , checking every few minutes even thought we already paid. She made it extremely obvious she was on the phone with either a manager or police or someone in charge as she repeatedly checked on us while saying , yes they are still here. The worker was extrmely rude and could not stop staring even thought we had already stopped doing any samples. This reaction was completely un warranted and made me feel like we had shoplifted or something. The worker treated us with zero respect and did not even attempt to give a friendly reminder before staring and trying to intimidate us. Terrible...

Over the last month I have been on mission to find the best frozen yogurt place in the area. I have tried almost all of them and I have found they are pretty much the same, but then a friend told me about Sweet Frog. Sweet Frog is by far the best frozen yogurt place I have found!! If I want frozen yogurt I don't even consider going any place other than Sweet Frog!! Most places offer 8 flavors, but Sweet Frog offers 16!! Their extras bar has everything you could possibly want and then some. They have a peanut butter sauce that is truely amazing!! They also offer to slice fresh bananas for you so you don't get stuck with bananas that have been setting out for hours!! The couple who owns Sweet Frog is incredibly friendly and extremely helpful!! They go out of their way to make sure you have an awesome experience everytime you come in!! My mission is definitely complete....................Sweet Frog is my choice for frozen...
