Spin Art Nation & Splatter studio (Raleigh) — Attraction in Cary

We had a fabulous time today! Stacey (hope I didn’t spell that wrong) was so kind, helpful and attentive. We felt so welcomed and a connection with staff is huge in my opinion to crafting the experience. It IS messy! Be prepared to go home a bit of a mess, but that is what we wanted! We did the paint room instead of the spin art and my kids 11 and 9 had such a wonderful time. They said it was one of their most favorite things they have done. My daughter even wants to have her birthday party there now. It’s a great activity for the older kids and tweens who have outgrown a lot of the play and small kids places. It was just right for them. We paid for some extra paint and paint balloons. I probably would skip the extra paint next time in favor or more balloons. The kids loved those. When I went to the throwing paint studio, I honestly had a ten out of ten experience. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the fun energy of the place. The walls were already splattered with bright colors, which made me excited to add my own creativity to the mix. I loved that I didn’t have to be perfect at painting. Instead, I could just throw paint however I wanted and watch it explode into cool patterns. It felt freeing and almost like I was making art by accident.

One of the best parts was getting to wear the protective gear. It made me feel like I was about to do something wild, and it definitely kept me from worrying about the mess. Every time I tossed paint at the canvas, it was like letting out all my energy in the most fun way possible. Such a cool experience! The splatter paint room is Awesome. You get to use glitter bombs and glow-in-the-dark paint! You can let your kids draw on the walls here! They have fun music inside so you can play along with the drums. Then paint a canvas in using splat paint! My favorite canvas was the spin art. It turns out amazing any way you do it but I loved it! I think it is worth it to do both the room and the spin art. You can look like a professional artist with this! Also a fun way to release endorphins in the splat room!
