Since we moved to Michigan, this is the place to go to entertain as a family. A cheap way to picnic watching planes taking off and landing. The place is usually clean. The restroom is decent. Today, we encountered a situation that sparked me writing this review. Our son shot the soccer ball high that it crossed the fence to the prohibited area. I called the airport communication center and within five minutes, a police officer came and gave us the ball back. That was really appreciated. They responded to our request promptly. This place is safe as well. We see security car driving around constantly.

Such a great place for families or individuals. Doesn't matter if you're a habitual "bird watcher" or there for the occasional visit. Ample parking and grassy areas for picnics, super clean bathroom facilities in a covered but open shelter and plenty of picnic tables and trash cans. Could use some swings or something for the amount of kids that frequent the place, but overall, well kept, safe, accommodating, relaxing, yet fun. Recommended to everyone.

Dogs, you HAVE to go here! I had to be on the leash but there was TONS of green grass with nothing to poke my paws. I didn't find any of those things that humans throw down after making smoke. I got to go on a Sunday and there were hardly any humans there, I got to explore without humans wanting to touch me. My mom got tired so we sat down at one of the tables in the shade, the ground there was hard but it helped me cool down. I saw a few dogs but there's SO much grass there I got to be by myself. My parents like looking at the sky and they liked the big noises. It was kinda scary but they didn't last long. There was lots of space for me in the room when mom had to pee. This place is WAY better than my park. You...

There are people from all walks of life here. The park is divided into two parking lots separated by a building that has bathrooms in it. The east side of the park has turned into a place where kids with souped up cars and fast motorcycles hang out as well as a spot for lovers! Besides that though the west side is a great place to hang out with family. Enjoy a picnic and watch planes land and takeoff. Sitting on the east side is like walking down memory lane, but on the west side i really feel my age. So make a choice and enjoy your...
