Small Town, Big Things. I was drawn to Casey to see their collection of the World's Largest things. I did stop in on a Sunday during off-season so I didn't find much open. I'm sure during the tourist season they have more going on, especially since it's just a couple of miles off I-70 between Terre Haute and Saint Louis.

Lots of the World's Largest things here, including the World's Largest Mailbox, the World's Largest Rocking Chair, the World's Largest Golf Tee, the World's Largest Bird Cage and the World's Largest Barber Pole. There's so much more here and it's an easy hour or two of lazy walking the downtown area around the coffee shops, cafes and ice cream shops. Yep, it's a tourist draw for sure and that's all pretty awesome.

Free parking on the street and on nearby lots. If you're passing through, don't miss it. If you're not passing through, make a...

I love all the "World's Largest" in this town and love that all are well maintained and more and more keep coming. The only reason that it's not getting a 5 star is due to the lack of a gift shop. I was hoping for large gift shop with a section of items dedicated to each attraction. Sadly all I found were some post cards of someone's artwork of the attractions. I ended up making my own postcards from my personal photos after my visit and sending those out to friends and family. But I would have gotten a t-shirt or sweatshirt, keychains, a snow globe, miniature replicas... I had promised my favorite coworkers souvenirs and sadly returned home empty handed. I think the town could capitalize on the attractions much more than they are; and it was Busy when I visited on a weekend in...

A Small Town with Big Things

Casey, Illinois, proves that small towns can dream big—really big. Home to the World’s Largest Rocking Chair, Wind Chime, and Mailbox (among others), this quirky town is packed with oversized attractions and plenty of photo ops to fill your camera roll.

Located perfectly between Indianapolis and St. Louis, Casey is the ideal midway stop to stretch your legs, grab a bite, and marvel at its Guinness-worthy creations. With a welcoming vibe and a knack for turning the ordinary into extraordinary, Casey is a small-town gem you won’t...
