Hometown Butcher Shop & Deli — Local services in Casey

We were in Casey for a couple of days touring around. We found it to be a nice quaint little town. We enjoyed the LARGE items. We saw your butcher shop so we decided after spending the day out we would stop in there and see what you had. Well we stopped at a produce stand and the lady said it was a pretty expensive place, but I said if it was good meat it's worth it. So we went in. I like rib eye. It was $17.99 lb., but it looked good. I picked out one I THOUGHT had less fat because I don't like beef fat. Wellllll when I went to cook it the next night and turned it over there was a 2" diameter thick fat in middle. Had to cut it out which was 1/3 of the steak which was $4. It didn't show from front. That was a very poor business rip off. When you go in there be sure to look at both sides of your meat. Sham on...

An awesome small town butcher shop with a variety of essentials for meal prep. Their meat variety is out of this world and the steaks and chops for the grill exceeded our expectations. Oh my goodness….don’t leave without one of their sandwiches which The Kickin Chicken Club is an all time favorite of mine. The staff are amazing and so helpful in my experience have went out of their way to meet our needs. Incredible amount of spices, rubs and BBQ for anything you might be cooking wether on the grill or in the house. Anyway we just don’t buy any meet anywhere else except the Butcher Shop. Wyatt was his name i think, but anyways he cut my sandwich and made it perfectly, i went up to the curly headed boy asking “ock lemme get a chopped cheese with bacon and swiss, the OCKY WAY” and he butchered her all up, Customer Service was amazing, and Wyatt definitely deserves a raise in my book! 5/5 stars would...
