Calm, peaceful tiny stream great for taking pictures, rock& stone gathering, insect hunting, watergun & balloon fights and of course simply dipping a toe to cool off on a hot day. Nature trail with two bridges, one stage area that can be reserved along with a wedding arbor i think but if so still can be used in other fashions. Two separate swing sets one tall and many swings other new, small with only a couple of swings kid size. One new kid size basketball goal (no cement pad). Read more4 Stars ONLY because it is for younger kids. There are a lot of parks I've taken my 2-4 year old grandsons to that are just to 'old' for them. I can't climb through the whole playground. Even if I could....dude, it's hot in SC. I don't like taking my Littles to a playground that has a platform 3 feet above my head that is designed to jump off of and slide down a pole. Can my grandsons do that? Sure. Will it give me a heart attack worrying that they'll plunge to their demise? 100%

Read moreThis is a wonderful park! There are three areas that you can use for parties, only one of which needs to be rented out, but it is the biggest one and in the back for more privacy. The trails are great. They recently rebuilt part of the boardwalk. There is a small creek that kids and dogs love to splash in. The playground is great and has the iconic Pumpkin Carriage, so we usually affectionately call it "Pumpkin Park" rather than it's real name.
