The Chemistry Store — Local services in Cayce

This place absolutely sucks. I wish zero stars was an option. I am trying to diversify my supply chain for many reasons. I typically use a website called Bulk Apothecary.

I built up my cart for the exact same products from this store. It was 13% higher than BA's cart. Then at shipping it was $55 from their SC location to my NC location. BA has the same weight from a further distance for $30, plus a 15% discount for anyone spending over $250.

I called the chemistry store support to try to give them my business. I asked if their was any discount codes, or anything to help bring the price down. The receptionist was the most stoic, condescending, lethargic, useless support chat i've ever spoke with. You might as well outsource that role to another company because the inhouse support was trash.

Safe to say that not only will I not be a new customer. I can ensure you that all the natural CPG friends within my business circle will not use this...

This is a nice, old fashioned and well run company. I bought products from them for about 6 years now and was always twitching my nose on the S&H costs. I overlooked it because the order was always extremely well packed and the shipping was fast.

I used to order, for my practice, 10 lb. of eucalyptus essential oil every year. As it was time to order again, I checked the price that, again, had doubled since last year. The price is now quadruple of what it was 6 years ago... Some inflation, isn't it ?

I found another place when I could order an actually more potent oil for half the cost.

I was a bit skeptical of purchasing from this company since there are so many bad reviews regarding shipping and handling of some items. I have made two purchases and have picked them up, and I love everything so far! I’ve orders jars, waxes, butters fragrance oils and I have to say I love them! I just wish they would close at a later time because I have to adjust my schedule to be able to order and pick up same day. Also, if shipping would be less I would definitely have it shipped...
