Cedar Fun Center — Attraction in Cedar City

My wife and I went to see a movie called “The Wild Robot” which is a kids movie. The tickets are cheap and the theater is actually not bad! What made it so bad was the fact they don’t check what trailers play before each movie. They played a red band rated R trailer before a children’s movie! It literally opened up with two Sasquatch characters vigorously (h)umping each other in the doggy style position and it wasn’t subtle. There was a family with young children behind my wife and I and I can’t imagine what I’d do if my small children had to see that. I’m surprised they didn’t leave. After that trailer they played a rated R trailer for a father that kills and rips people apart! I cannot believe they played those trailers right before a children’s movie! I would love to recommend this theater with how cheap it is and how the seating isn’t bad, but I cannot because if a family takes their kids to see a movie, there is no guarantee your kids won’t see something horrible before the movie plays. I hope someone in management sees this review and filters what trailers play before each movie.

Edit: I got a response from the owner saying they cannot show rated R trailers which is great! But we really did see those trailers. They were for the movies Sasquatch sunset, and Trap. My receipt is from 12/2/2024 and we saw a later showing at...

The past few weeks cedar fun center has been lacking in customer service. The first was when they changed there hours. There was a movie we wanted to see on the 7th at 2pm. How ever cedar fun center didn't update their times on line. And the movie had showings through out the week. We were offered free tickets. We weren't able to use because

When cedar fun center update the times they also canceled the remaining showing for Kraven... we planned this movie 2 weeks prior.

Today we went to watch another movie. We arrived a few minutes before it started. How ever a party was just starting and cedar fun center only had on person running a cash register. There were also 3 employees leaning up on the wall behind the lady running the cash register. Talking and on their phones...

why couldn't they run a register to ease the customer flow... we were in line nearly 20 minutes and walked into the theater after the movie started.

Cedar fun center needs shape up and practice good...

I just thought I would share, I have never been to this place before. I would Highly recommend it. We heard a rumor they were airing the Conner McGregor fight, so I thought I'd call and see before to make sure it was true. The guy on the phone was exceptionally nice and told us, yes they were indeed doing it, (and its free)! He said, we encourage anyone coming to buy concessions to help cover costs, which is very easy to do with free drink and popcorn refills, pizza, nachos, and for real, even a mini doughnut fryer! How awesome! What a cool place and obviously great owners! The gal at the counter was immediatly bombarded with all of us ufc fans. She was also very friendly and helpful!
