The Hub Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Cedar City

We live in Enoch and we always got our pizzas etc from there until it closed. We loved the food so we chose to make a bit longer trip and still order from the Cedar shop. Since then, and especially lately it's taken a serious nose dive. We typically get the family meal deal on Saturday night almost every week and sometimes on Wednesdays for calzones and pasta. The prices have gone up, but okay, everything else is too, but the quality seems to have gone down. :( It's not consistent. Sometimes it's really good, but lately not so much. It really depends who is working I think. Sometimes great on toppings, sometimes it's minimal. Also, they changed the pesto, not sure what it is now ,but blech. And it's on the outside in a cup with the calzones, ig mistake in my opinion. One time, I got home and there wasn't any with the calzone. That was super aggravating. If it works, don't fix it. I've ordered pepperoni pizza and got a cheese only, it's pretty bad when you only order 1 topping and its not on there! I ordered double pepperoni on half and pepperoni and mushroom on the other half, got minimal of both on the whole thing. This is the 4th or 5th time in as many months, my order has been messed up. Called in the order, the guy/kid on the phone did read the order back to me and told me it would be an hour wait. Ok, Saturday rush, our order was ready when we got there an hour later. We ordered a family meal deal, a specialty chicken BBQ pizza, 1 pasta and frostbites. $78.! They do use a rewards points system and I should've got $10 off, but the system didn't count it. Bummer but okay, and away we went. Got home and discovered the cow pie we were supposed to get with the meal deal, wasn't there. I called to let them know, the Mgr was on a delivery, the kid I talked to had zero clue what to say, and told me, that it comes with the meal deal (duh) but whether we got it or not it wouldn't change the price. Are you kidding me? It doesn't matter, it comes with it so it should be there. I ordered the pasta for my son, and he'd have the cowpie to go with it. Nope not there. Wth? I also ordered an extra specialty pizza for my other son, which normally I wouldn't do, but he worked so hard today he deserved it. He loves the BBQ chicken pizza. What he ended up with was a pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon pizza with minimal marinara sauce. He doesn't like sausage or Canadian bacon, and I dont either really. Spent $23 for a $6 pizza I could've got from Domino's or pizza hut. Soooo, extremely disappointing for all of us. We don't eat fast-food, but this is something I may expect from McD or taco hell, not our old favorite Hub. Sorry Hub, but we're done. This is just way too...

First time ordering or eating anything from this pizza place. I called in my order, staff was very friendly. It was "2 topping Thursday" for medium pizza for $10. I ordered carry out. Staff was friendly and brought my pizza to the car. When I got home, the crust was super thick, no problem...would have been really good had the thick crust been stuffed with cheese, most people won't eat thick crust. The actual "two topping" pizza part was the shocker, there wasn't any cheese on the whole pizza! The pizza had an orange color oil dripping off the pizza. Not edible. I did call the next day and talk to the manager, Scott, he did give me a refund, still waiting for the refund to show up in my bank account. Not sure when/if I will try this place again. 🍕 🤢 🤷🏼‍♀️

🎉 UPDATE: the refund did go into the correct bank account...I wasn't sure which debit card I had used! 👍🏻 Scott, the owner did reach out, in regards to my 1st review above and offered to make and deliver a pizza to me. Customer service is outstanding! On 6/5, Scott personally delivered a fresh, hot pizza to my house, even though I am way out of their delivery boundaries! 👍🏻This pizza looked entirely different from the 1st, because it had cheese 🧀 on it! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 The pizza was still hot, and it was a good pizza and I didn't notice any orange oil dripping from the pizza! 🍕 👍🏻

We placed an order for a pizza and when we received it, it was wrong. We told the delivery person it was incorrect and they said they would have it remade. I also said If she wanted the wrong pizza back, and she said no to keep it and they would have a new one remade. A few minutes later, we get a call and we were told that they weren't going to remake it since we order it wrong. My husband order a pizza with Jalapeños peppers and instead we got one with bell peppers. My husband hates bell peppers and would never order them on a pizza. We were also told that they had delivery issues and won't be able to deliver so far way to us. We live under 2 mile, from the restaurant. The person on the phone was new from what the delivery person told us and He made the mistake. This was the 2nd time ordering from the hub and the last.
