Absolutely! Am in love with this trail system! I love that there are public restrooms that are well maintained at the very beginning of the hike, along with drinking fountains, a bike pump and some tools to use on tires/ chains as well. There are many hikes to choose from that are different lengths and difficulties. You can choose to stay on the paved path, or go off on one of the many dirt paths that are flat enough to ride a bike, and steep enough to hike. One trail leads to a small obstacle course. You can take a bike or scooter over. It was so fun for my kids! There are definitely hikes, easy enough for kids and others challenging enough for adults and athletes. We will be making this a favorite spot...
ย ย ย Read moreI LIVE NEAR HERE AND CAN WALK TO THE TRAILHEAD. FROM THERE IT'S ALL BEAUTY AND A GOOD WORKOUT (WHETHER WALKING OR BIKING). YOU CAN"T SEE MUCH OF THE UPPER MTN OTHER THAN THE TREES BUT, DANG, THE WESTWORD VIEW IS GORGEOUS, PRIMARILY IF YOU RESIDE IN CEDAR. HIGH ON THE MOUNTAIN TRAIL, YOU WALK/RIDE AND VIEW SOUTHWEST CEDAR. IN A YEAR OR TWO, THAT VIEW WILL CHANGE TOTALLY AS HOUSES ARE BUILT NEAR THE TRAILHEAD AND FURTHER SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST. I PREFER NATURE BUT LIFE GOES ON AND PEOPLE HAVE TO THAVE A PLACE TO LIVE. AS I SAID, THE HIKE IS GREAT. BIKING IS GREAT ALSO BUT I GO TOO FAST TO ENJOY THE VIEW. MY AGE (77) MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO...

When I rode this the trail was fairly new and I still liked it. The rocks make it a little bumpy, so rocking this on a hard tail might rattle you some, but having a trail designated to one way bike traffic while hikers can still safely use the area is awesome. All trail systems should try to avoid unnecessary conflict between bikes and hikers like this trail does. Lots of cedar, loose rocks with hardpack dirt, and a...
