Ladies and gentlemen, let us embark on a curious journey of culinary despair at Costa Vida, where the stars align in a symphony of chaos. Oh, an' let's not ferget to aplaud the staaf fer their impressiv dedication to lazyness. It's as if they were setting a world recerd for the slowest food servise ever.
In the realm of online ordering, where temporal constraints dissolve into ethereal uncertainty, Costa Vida beckoned with a siren's promise of 30 minuts. Alas, we were ensnared in the abyss of time, as the clock spun a yarn for 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 36 secunds. This tragic odyssey tested the boundaries of our patience and existential ponderings.
Amidst this temporal dissonance, we discovered that the gastronomic offering before us was not what it purported to be. Gluten-free, we dared to declare, but alas, it was naught. My sister, confined by a perilous gluten allergy, found herself en route to the ER, as we pondered the impermanence of life and the fleeting nature of gastronomic integrity.
The poultry served on this tragic eve, a morsel to defy culinary logic, exhibited the rigor mortis of overcooking. A relic of a different epoch, grey and unyielding. Meanwhile, others, who had joined the queue an hour into our culinary saga, partook in their feast and departed, leaving us in existential disarray.
Costa Vida, your performance merits a standing ovation, not for excellence, but for the surreal enactment of inefficiency. In this temporal paradox, our small respite with my collegiate sister was irrevocably marred. This experience, a somber reminder of the capricious whims of fate and human endeavors.
Let our connoisseurship be declared a resounding 0/5 stars, inscribed in the annals of perplexing dining experiences for generations...
Read moreI typically avoid Costa, but enjoy the food when they get it right. So every few months I decide the gamble is worth it, and try again! I have been to this Costa on multiple occasions. It is more rare that I leave with all my food, correct, and in a timely manner. My most recent expedition took me through the drive through to just pick up an online order. When I got to the drive through there was only 2 cars in front of me with the one right in front not even being allowed to order for 10 minutes. I would have just backed up and went inside to pick up at this point of waiting but there were 2 vehicles behind me so I couldn't. After the vehicle in front of me was able to order finally I tried to let them know I just was doing a pickup and they still tried to tell me to wait to order. After insisting it is just a pickup I gave them my name and pulled forward. 15 more minutes passed with the person at the window chatting it up with the vehicle in front of me. When I finally got to the pickup window, they tried to give me the vehicles food behind me and had completely forgotten about my PICK UP order. I had to give them my name AGAIN for them to go find it and try and ship me on my way without my drinks. Over 25 minutes of waiting for a pick up order is rediculous. I then got home, without checking bags (my fault I know) and found my order was messed up. I have done the "you messed up my order" shananigans with this Costa on multiple occasions and have even drove back to have them get it right. They have even put my name in their notebook for a free meal before with one manager, then turned around and not honored that. I'm sadly disappointed again and will be avoiding them for a while until I have the courage and the time to...

OVERVIEW - 4.4 Came here while coming back from a quick trip down to Las Vegas. It was in the evening and we were kind of hungry and Cedar City seemed like a good halfway point on the way to Salt Lake City.
LOCATION - 5 Costa Vida first caught my attention as we were heading down to Vegas and I noticed it from the freeway. There were signs advertising the exit as well. It was actually easy to notice from the city street as well. Kind of by its lonesome on a major road.
PRICE - 4 It's a reasonable price for the quantity of food, but I feel like it could always be a dollar or two cheaper per plate.
PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I ordered the same thing I get practically at every Costa Vida. The sweet pork enchiladas. They're very delicious and I love the taste of sweet pork, even though I believe its not native to Mexico.
POINTERS/PERKS - 5 They have their Costa Vida app, which you can get points with each purpose that you can turn around and redeem for free meals after buying like a million meals.
EMPLOYEES - 3 This is the area that I'm not impressed. While the young lady making my food did it well, she initially screwed up on my wife's order, my wife ordered her burrito with beef, but the young lady put sweet pork, when my daughter brought it to her attention, instead of making the burrito again from scratch she just removed the meat, with slight traces of sweet pork and then added the beef. I hope that is not a standard, as that is not the way to make food, especially when...
