St Margaret Mary Catholic Church — Attraction in Cedar Park

My Sister in law was a faithful member of this Apostate church, and when she was hospitalized for Covid pneumonia in early February 2022. My brother requested a visit from the "PREACHERS" at this church, and they refused. She really needed someone in that church to care enough to go to her side, but no one went. There was a minister inside the hospital who didn't even know her, or my brother, abd he asked if my brother needed anything. He happily entered her room, prayed with her, and even cried for her. I don't know what denomination he was, but he cared MORE than the PREACHERS in this Disastrous church, and I use the Term "church"VERY LOOSELY. I have No desire to EVER enter that place again !! I visited St. Margaret Mary's Church when they were having a large garage sale Inside the Rec Building recently. I found a number of great finds and an old Disney children's story book from the late 70s that I was able to gift to my sister for her baby shower later that same day. Let me say I grew up in this church. I actually began Catholic Sunday school at the old church off of 183 near the Middle school in Leander and continued on here when they moved. I've been away from this church for some time and it's great to see how things changed. Attended a wonderful Christmas Eve Mass here. The young priest had all the children come up to the altar and told them the story of Mary and Joseph going to Bethlehem with Jesus. It was so nice to hear a sermon addressing children. The only problem was the temperature in the church. It was so hot in there I’m surprised people were not fainting. I asked an usher to turn the air on and he told me there was nothing he could do about it. My young granddaughter did become ill at the end of Mass and we left. I’m not sure why they did not have the air on. But in my opinion when you are taking up a collection then some of that money needs to be used to make your parishioners comfortable especially in a crowded church...
