Their tea is nothing short of sublime, offering a taste that transports you to the sun-kissed hills of Italy, as if each sip captures the essence of a peaceful retreat. The Sweet Georgia Peach variety is simply dilectable, a harmonious blend of flavors that dances on the palate with just the right amount of sweetness. At first, I considered awarding this experience a respectable four stars, but upon reflection, it unequivocally deserves five. Why, you ask? It’s not just the tea itself, though it is undoubtedly fantastic—it’s the attention to every detail, including the ingenious use of the styrofoam cup. This cup is more than a vessel; it’s a revelation. It keeps your drink cool for longer, ensuring every sip is as refreshing as the first; and it spares your hands from any discomfort for it does not allow condensation. There’s even a playful charm in being able to etch designs onto the surface with your fingernails—an unexpected delight that adds to the experience.
But the excellence doesn’t stop there. The staff are welcoming, offering service with a genuine smile that makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. The environment itself is perfectly temperate, striking the ideal balance of comfort. All these details come together to create an experience that transcends the ordinary—one that leaves a lasting impression and beckons you to return time...
Read moreUpdate: Very disappointed in the Cedar Park location yesterday afternoon. We visited just after 4 PM. The store ran out of ice, which they quickly fixed. They were also out of lemons and only had 2 limes left. The container holding the lemons/limes had no ice and was a mess of cool water. The worst part was our inability to use a H Tea O gift card. The gentleman behind the counter was unable to run the card on either cash register. He first blamed us for getting the card at another location (Georgetown) and then blamed the computer system. Eventually, we used a credit card, which he initially had problems with as well.
This is probably one of the more haphazard experiences I've had with a retailer in a while and definitely isn't like the stellar experiences I've had with the H Tea O locations in Georgetown and Waco.
Just like Chick-Fil-A does the perfect chicken sandwich, HTeaO does iced tea to perfection. Part of it is that's all they do, so they'd best do it right. Part of it is that the customer service at every HTeaO I've been to is spot on perfect. Part of it is the maniacal cleanliness. And a large part of is that HTeaO screams Texas -- and not the cliche version, but actual Texas. And finally, they've got every flavor of iced tea you could imagine and all of the fixings for it.
I only wish there was one closer...
Read moreLast time I will come to this location, your employee was so rude for no reason. First encounter with said employee was the register where she was rushing us to pay, even though we were waiting to grab a lip balm to add to our order but could not get it due to customer being at the other register and in the way of grabbing it. She was clearly annoyed and when we were finally able to grab it she says let me scan it, my hand hadn’t even reached the other side of me yet. Then we are waiting for our gallon of tea and an elderly couple walks in to get water in their water jugs and my daughter steps forward to offer help to carry jugs to their car and same rude employee tells my daughter “ that’s actually my job” , we did not realize us asking the couple if they needed help was such an issue. It all has to do with tone and this employee had a lot of it today. She then proceeds to hand me my jug of tea and barely wipes it down , it’s leaking all down the side, but had no issue wiping down jugs of water. Please make that make sense. So disappointed because I have been to this location before and I have never been...
