Best dog park in the Austin metro area. Has separate sections for large-medium and small dogs. The medium-large dog area has a small lake/pond with a pier that the dogs can jump off of. Both sections have some easy to climb trees for the climber dogs looking for squirrels. My little ones climbed right up... but found no squirrels, nor any nuts to snack on. They prefer the trees, squirrels, and nuts than the water. Careful though, as they can easily jump out of the fenced area once they are up in the trees. There was also a mixed sizes section but it was under renovation. As well as dog bathing areas so that you can bath your dog, and bathrooms available if u really need it. Read moreFrom the perspective of a non-dog owner, this is a great little park which I like mostly due to its proximity to where I'm staying. What's useful to me (and harder to tell by maps and reviews) is that there's a 1+ mile track around the edge of the park which is perfect for a morning walk. There's also an amazing pool complex that I would have loved as a kid and the veteran/armed forces monuments and statues are pretty cool. The dog park does look amazing with lots of happy dogs and places for owners to socialize. I'm sure it would earn full stars if I were using...

Beautiful Monuments dedicated to the fallen soldiers.
There's also a trail around this park that leads to New Hope street and the neighborhoodsnearby, and also cement walkways throughout.
Basketball court, and multiple tennis courts.
A couple of baseball fields. There's also a tiny community garden for members.
There's a paid subscription pool here thats rarely open on certain days of the week.
A small exercise area for adults. (Pull up bars, dip bars, etc)
Parking never seems to fill up, even on weekends.
