Lesko Park — Attraction in Center Township

Loved the scenery and the walking trail but the park was pretty run down. Bathrooms were locked in the middle of the day and they had a port-a-potty to use but it was disgusting. We spent about an hour here picking up trash on and around the playground trying to leave it better than we found it, but could definitely use a community work day for clean up and repair. There were trash can lids but no trash can by the playground. Overall good for a walk but not the best if you’re looking for a playground. This cute little shaded bench with a good view was our favorite part. This place has so much potential, I hope the town does...

I just read a review about Lesko Park that was given a 3 star rating.... Their review was posted 4 months ago... Aurora, at that time, had JUST suffered a really bad flood that took quite a while (and a lot of manpower) to clean up after!! I'm sorry they were here at the wrong time and didn't know about the flood. It's a nice park. Not perfect, but a favorite spot for Aurora residents. Great place to park and eat a meal, go for a woalk/run. Or even do some bank fishing. The nice park is great for the kids, the pavilions have plenty of space, I'd say for about 20 people. The Vietnam memorial is cool. Bathrooms are easily accessible. ♿️ accessible easily, mostly all flat ground from the parking lot to the first pavilion, even the bathrooms are. Always a nice...
