Get comfy and please read. If I could rate this place with zero stars, I would. After months of planning schedule wise on my significant others part, we were very excited to dine here based on the reviews and recommendations. We drove forty five minutes one way to go to what was supposed to be an excellent experience.

When we arrived, we were escorted through the main dining area: up the stairs and down a hallway past what looked like a dirty service station to a door leading outside. We specifically requested indoor socially distant seating when the reservation was made. We reminded them of the request, and they then tried to sit us at a tiny table in the bar area with a support beam almost in the middle of the table. We said that was not acceptable and we would just leave. As we were about to go back down the stairs to the exit, the assistant manager heard us talking about how disappointed we were and asked us to wait a moment while he dropped food off at a table. We did. When he returned we explained what happened and he asked us to give them a second chance. We reluctantly agreed. He seated us in the dining room upstairs. He brought us complimentary drinks and said that we would have excellent service.

Our server arrived about ten minutes later and explained that he normally worked at the restaurants butcher shop, so he was doing his best. We told him it was no problem and that we understood. We ordered a BLT salad to share. The salad finally arrived and was good. About ten minutes later, the server took our order. We both requested filets. Then. We waited and waited. And waited. No food.

About an hour and fifteen minutes into the experience, we asked when we could expect our food. The answer... "no idea since the kitchen is busy." Fifteen minutes after that, with no food in sight (not even food smells coming from anywhere), my other half tracked down the assistant manager and asked about our food. He was confused about who we were, didn't remember that he stopped us from leaving, and promised us good service. He said he wasn't sure when we would have food. He couldn't even give us an idea on timing. Please note that he never checked on us during this awful experience. Also, other customers were served food while we were there so someone was in the kitchen cooking.

At that point, we were fed up and out of patience. We offered to pay for the salad so we could leave and find a place to eat a meal. The assistant manager told us not to worry about it and said that we could leave free of charge. Absolutely horrible train wreck service. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend at ALL. We will never be back.

A few other points 🙃 1) We were the only people wearing masks in the entire establishment. 2) Someone at the table next to us stared so often it was laughably rude...to the point that I finally looked her dead in her eye, said HI loudly and waved. The woman's husband knew she was being blatantly rude and was clearly embarrassed. Before anyone assumes, we were dressed appropriately, perhaps more so than required so that was definitely not the issue. 3) The picture below was the best part of the entire experience...artisan salt...

Was excited to give this place a try and had looked at their menu online. We arrived on time for our dinner reservation they went to west us at our table but it had not been bussed. We stood there as the server or person seating us began to clear it off and then she disappeared. As we stood there awkwardly waiting while other guest ate, we noticed other clean tables and asked our returning server/ hostess if we could sit at another table .., she replied “I’ll have to ask the hostess I just don’t know” and she disappeared again. We asked another server in the area and same answer but stated “it’s for a reservation and my reply well we had a reservation. Finally someone allowed us to sit at another table. The menus were on the table on a diner style paper sheet so ok these Covid days things change. What we noticed was this menu was different than that on their website. We noticed it was a Valentines Day menu but had 95% of the items but add 20%. In my opinion sort of unprofessional unless they are offering something special but it wasn’t. The sever was somewhat rude. Ask us if we wanted something g to drink and as we are replying he stands there and starts talking to the customers sitting behind us and has a conversation with them. Totally ignores us but then returns eye contact with us and takes our order. We figure out he’s the owner/chef so they are probably having a tough time getting staff. No worries as this is the norm these days. In the end, we wished he had just stayed in the kitchen, not focused on us, multiple times we are talking to him about our order and he just starts to ficus on another table. The food was goid . We ordered the 3rd and Main Flight ($190) which is 3 various steaks, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Enough food for dinner and take home other than the mashed potatoes which were enough for one. We were hoping for bread but they only serve as an appetizer for $8 and the server/owner/chef stated we’d have enough food and not to order but it wasn’t on the Valentines menu anyway. We finished with mason huge key lime pie we shared but lacking of solid key lime flavor. The bottom line is this is a very expensive place to eat but they way you are treated and the ambience it’s more like an outback. I’d venture to a steakhouse in Cincinnati versus here and we won’t return. The steaks are expensive even if you don’t get the flight it will be $50-75/steak. We were disappointed and just left feeling odd...

Went there last night with my best friend for dinner. Had bought a groupon for this place and was excited to try this restaurant out. Reservations was @6:30 . We arrived on time & were sat and then left at table for 30 minutes. Several servers kept telling us they would be with us . Finally 30 minutes someone arrived to get our drink order . We already knew what we wanted to eat but was told they would be back to get our food order, another 10 minutes and another server stopped to explain the menu options to us again because we had a groupon, we explained we already knew just wanted to place our order for food but still pushed off. Another 10 minutes and I stopped another server asking for them to please take our order. He did accommodate us. 25 minutes later appetizers arrived but we now we were out of drinks and seem like we were not going to get decent service at this point. Food arrived 20 minutes later and my herb pressed chicken was cold and burnt and dried out. I would have eaten it but it was like a brick it was so over cooked. I switch my dish to the pasta from heaven and that was another 25 minutes to arrive at table and no way to eat the crab leg that arrived on top with my dish of pasta??and I had no silverware to eat with as we were not given any upon arrival??or getting service. To complete the night of bad serve, was told after I placed an order for 2 slices of chocolate cake another 15 minutes went by, was told they were out of Chocolate cake only had 1 slice left and settling for 1 slice of cheesecake. while we were eating our dessert 15 minutes later , We both watch another table being served Chocolate cake ???. what was awful was having to wait for check at the end another 10 minutes and server included a 20% tip on my bill for service. . Which was not suppose to be unless we had a party of 6 people. We never had the same server all night. 3 different servers and still bad service. I believe the reason for bad service was because we had a groupon but I would have gladly taken my $114.00 to another restaurant and received better service. Food was good, after my reorder but won't return back . Jeff Ruby will get my...

📍3rd & Main Steakhouse – Aurora, Indiana Savoring one of the Midwest’s best-kept foodie secrets: a Wagyu steak flight. Perfectly marbled cuts presented side by side, each one a masterclass in flavor. My first shot is the steak flight itself—pure indulgence—followed by a peek inside and outside this gem of a restaurant. When we arrived we weren't welcomed by the hostess (she basically just stared at us until we said we had a reservation), and then she told us to go upstairs and find the other host so he could find us a table. Once we navigated ourselves upstairs, we awkwardly stood in a hallway outside a restroom until we caught someone's attention. When we were seated we found that the menu prices were completely different than what was posted online (the steak I was interested in, the house dry aged bone in ribeye, was $15 more expensive than on their website and 6oz bigger). None of the beers on the menu were recognizable or less than about $10, and when I asked if they had any domestics or cheaper options, the server said he didn't know what was in stock and "if you go downstairs and look in the cooler, I can order you one of those". I pulled up a picture posted here of the drink menu, and after naming about 4 of those (again, it was their menu I was reading off of), we finally found one they had in stock. The USDA Prime steaks seemed to be priced really high compared to the only slightly more expensive exotic stuff, so don't go here expecting to get a middle-of-the-road cut of beef because for basically the same price, you can get a Wagyu. While waiting for our dinner we saw a mouse running along the baseboards and jumping across people's feet (the couple sitting next to us saw it also and seemed a lot more concerned than we were). Once we got our food, my wife and I were very happy with the quality of our food and how it was prepared, but by that measure alone it's getting the 3-stars from us... Our bill after tip was just shy of $200, and for that kind of money we felt the overall experience didn't warrant the 45 minute drive (much less the cost), so we probably won't be going back. There's much better fine dining options if you're close to downtown Cincinnati that will make your trip to their restaurant a priority. However, if you're dying to try an exotic cut of steak and don't mind dealing with some potential service issues or care about the cost, check it out.
