I don't know where you heard that rumor, but it's not true. The Coker Arboretum is not going to be remodeled anytime soon. The vines are part of its charm and history. They also provide shade and habitat for many animals. So don't worry, you can still enjoy the arboretum as it is.

But maybe you should watch where you're stepping. It sounds like you have a habit of stepping on shoes in the mud. That's not very nice of you. You're ruining someone else's footwear and making a mess. Why don't you stick to the gravel roads or the concrete floor? They're there for a reason, you know. They're not just anecdotal. They're...

The landscape was very gorgeous, and it was helped immensely by the weather at the time I was there. The paths and trails are a good walk, but maybe a bit narrow during this social distancing time for when you're trying to pass people or coming across people walking the other way. If I really truly have any real beef with any of it, it would be the lack of restrooms. It is nice to be able to walk in the area where there is no signs of technology or human advancement, other than the fact that the floral arrangements in scenery are...

Make some memories by walking through this enchanting garden. I walked a mile to it the three days I was in town. There are many beautiful plants and although I enjoyed it in Fall, I can tell it would be spectacular with all the flowers in spring and summer too. There are many benches for contemplation and relaxation and there are green areas for little ones to run around or lay in the grass. It’s all in a small area (about a block size) so you can easily explore if you only have...

A little slice of Heaven! While walking on campus, looking for the sundial just chanced on these gorgeous gardens. You walk down a gravel trail and immediately feel like you’re in another world. While it’s still early for most flowering trees, there are lots of daffodils, pansies, tulips, etc. Especially loved the arbor with all the vines. So fun and peaceful to just walk in it. It’s such a tranquil place. Will be coming back again and again. A very windy March afternoon, 2019

I was waiting for a friend and happened to stumble across this place. It was such a pleasant surprise. Everything was quiet, cute and colorful. Just a nice place to stroll around and take your mind off of things. If you are on campus or are close by, I would recommend stopping by and walking around!

I frequent Coker Arboretum often as this is one of my favorite places to photograph at. It is lush, and offers the perfect amount of open shade, which is great for highlights and shadows. Always a pleasure to stroll through here even when I do not photograph!
