The food I got to try were the Jalapeño Tator tots, veggie burger with cheesy tots, and the veggie hot dog with onion rings and their secret sauce. I also had a couple French fries to taste. The jalapeño tator tots were just tater tots topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, and chopped jalapeños. I will say that they were decent, but I was a bit disappointed as I love spicy food and the jalapeños they used were pretty mild. After tasting, I determined that the hot sauce they used was most likely Texas Pete. The veggie burger was really good. The patty itself was pretty savory and not too salty as some make them. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the patties are made in-house. The cheesy tots upheld its namesake -- tater tots with melted cheese on top. Tasted heavenly when paired with ranch or with mustard (or other dressing of your liking). The veggie dog had lettuce and cheese, a pickle under the wiener, and the wiener itself. It was cooked properly and tasted pretty good. Wasn't spectacular but definitely worth a try if you want to cut back on meat. The onion rings weren't the best I've tasted, but were still decent. They could make them better by frying them a bit longer or using a different type of breadcrumb mix (unless they use frozen onion rings). I was told that their "secret sauce" was suppose to be a mixture of various sauces. Take this as you will, but it pretty much just tasted like BBQ sauce. Finally, the service. I would say that for the level of crowded it was that the service was phenomenal. Both of the people who served us interacted with us and were friendly, even if we had come kinda late night and they were probably already working for some hours. Overall: some of the food was great, some was good, but I'm cutting a star because nothing was spectacular. Take that with a grain of salt though, I would definitely go here again, and I think it's worth a try if you live in the area or are visiting!

After I was seated they handed me a card with a code on it that I needed to scan to get their menu on my phone (which I didn't have with me) because they don't have menus. I had to leave and walk a block and a half back to my car to get my phone so I could see a menu. Then, my phone wouldn't read the code and the waitress said that happens a lot of the time with certain phones. Well, I finally placed my order ($6.99 for a hot dog and some hash rounds that they call tater tots). The dog was small compared to the steamed (almost soggy) bun. The chili had very little flavor, the sour cream actually overpowered it. The tater rounds were very plain, no seasoning, not even salt. They also didn't have utensils so I had to eat everything with my hands. My waitress was friendly and helpful but I don't think they are giving the wait staff a lot to work with here. If you are in the mood for a hot dog - go to Trolly Stop one block up the street, or anywhere else - save your time and your money.

Staying at the hospital for my sons surgery. Ordered almost 60 dollars and used door dash. Sauce cups were open and all over the bags and boxes. Opened the bag and it spoiled all over the one clean shirt i had left, with several more days in the PICU to go. Driver had multiple deliveries in his front seat, just thrown in a pile. Resturant took no extra care to ensure quality of food. Half was thrown away. That sauce is not kid friendly. Fries were covered as well in a hot dog combo, and cold and inedible. This place doesn't give a damn about their product, presentation or quality. Nor do they care that families that are ordering from a hospital have enough going on workout having to spend all this money for garbage quality. Emailed restaurant, no reply. I'd give negative, but that's not an option. For the hospital, and any family in the future, DO BETTER! Being hours from home, now hungry, soiled, and out of a lot of money....? That's how you treat your customers? Sad.

Sup Dogs was great!!! Came in on a crowded friday night and got served right away. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and cheese fries and the food was legit. I received generous portions and delicious food. The cheese fries were great - especially when dipped in the ranch or special sauce (as pictured). The Chicken sandwich was tossed in an appropriate amount of buffalo sauce and was the perfect density. Altogether the food was a 5/5. My review should really be a 4.5/5 because I do have one complaint. My food was $17. For someone looking for an affordable option- this is definitely not it. I understand I got cheese fries but the prices still seem a little steep to me. Most hotdogs are over $8 here as well. If you have the money to spend here, the food definitely won’t let you down, just think it’s a little high. The atmosphere makes up for the pricing if you have plenty of time to spend or go in with friends on a game night/ weekend night.

Visited Chapel Hill from Alabama for a week and this was the second hot dog place I've been to. The first left MUCH to be desired, so I'm happy to say this place exceeded expectations. I tried the original, the smokehouse, and the old fashioned hot dog and they were all incredibly delicious. Seriously, the chili they put on these dogs is no joke! Hard to decide which one was my favorite, might have to fly over again sometime to say for sure. The restaurant itself is a sports bar so you'll have lots to drink and lots to watch on TV. They're open late too and, to my surprise, they were taking orders up to the last minute. On my first visit I made it 10 minutes to closing and they took my order no problem - I'm used to getting a grumpy response followed by lousy food when eating out late, but it was all as good as it was midday. Can't wait to go back here again next time I'm in Chapel Hill!

Sup Dogs! Warning!!! Don't skimp on the napkins. This little hole in the wall dog and burger joint is the epitome of local delights. With their homemade chili, hand smashed burgers and all beef hot dogs you're in for a treat for your tongue. The long fries are cooked to perfection crispy on the outside soft and decedent on the inside. Dip them in the sup dog sauce and man oh man have you got a delicious combo. Prices are mid-range for a burger stop but worth every penny. Their in house brewed sweet tea is refreshing. I had the bacon cheese fries burger and my wife had the slaw burger. Yes you read that right bacon cheese fries on top of a 1/3 pound fresh beef burger patty. The hardest part of the whole experience was deciding what to order, every thing looked and sounded delicious. Will be going back!
