Clean cut at its best.

Given the shenanigans going on at most college campuses today, it was nice to see respect and professionalism on display everywhere. No ragged and torn clothing, no Rand McNally maps running up and down arms (tattoos) no steel dangling from noses, no pants hanging half off butts, one could feel pride in America and hope for the future when touring this vast and beautiful campus.

A quick tour showed this to be a non-nonsense, education first, institution. Having been in the military, it did not take me long to figure out that the "fast walkers" were freshmen. They stuck to their designated walkways, off the sidewalks for the most part, walking at a fast clip with a pronounced gait, and making sharp right turns at the corners.

We would go back in a heartbeat and you should too when you start to lose faith in America. Different uniforms but it reminded me a lot of Annapolis. God...

Founded in 1842, I had the privilege of pursuing both my Electrical Engineering degree and Masters in Project Management at the Citadel Military College. 🏛️ The institution's rich history, coupled with its commitment to academic excellence, has been an inspiring journey. 🌟 The professors stand out for their expertise and approachability, making the learning experience truly exceptional. 👩‍🏫 Completing both programs was enlightening; the Masters in Project Management equipped me with valuable skills for the professional world. 🎓 While the engineering degree posed challenges, its emphasis on math is ideal for math enthusiasts. 🔢 The Citadel Military College is undeniably a place where dedication meets exceptional learning...

My son graduated from there in 1998. He went in as a kid and came out a self-confident man. Rather than 4 years of partying the students here are concentrating on an excellent education. Not an easy college but he is now successful and an asset to our country. He was the last all male graduating class. I've heard a lot of things have changed but the campus is still beautiful and the tradition lives on. My family is from the low country and have had other members graduate there and we are very proud to continue the tradition. I think all, especially young men, could benefit from attending this...

Our visit to The Citadel was truly fascinating. As we explored the campus in Charleston, South Carolina, we were struck by its rich history and impressive architecture. The Summerall Chapel, in particular, left a lasting impression with its magnificent stained glass windows and grand design. Witnessing the disciplined cadet corps in their uniforms added to the unique atmosphere of the campus. We were fortunate to catch a parade or drill on Summerall Field, where the cadets' precision and dedication were on full display.
