Very difficult to get any work done on your boat..If you have a new boat maybe...be very careful ...very careful with them ...if something goes wrong ?? They will not call you... I had my freshly painted boat set in the water this season early to get out of the situation...They put me up against the dock...I mean up against the dock ...No bumpers no dock guard ....well guess what ...rub rub rub against the new paint...When I emailed picks of 1 week before and during and after the put in...No response No hey were sorry no nothing ......I think if I was putting a boat in the water ..I would Make sure the boat was secure..I have been in other marinas and I have lots of friends ...the area that Charlestown uses needs some basic improvements that would solve the issue... The also need 3 full time mechanics ...my boat was out of the marina 7 weeks last year....for work that they had no ability to service...I like the family I like the people ...But they are forgetting what is important in any business..Service ...care ...customer relations ...These are the traits that make a good business...
Read moreI came into a situation this summer where I became a primary caretaker for a friend whose partner suddenly passed away 3 days after moving to the marina. Without going into detail, I was and still am, appalled at the lack of professionalism, integrity and customer service or even empathy for a disabled, autistic and harmless woman. There were two employees there with a shred of decency, the redheaded dockmaster and the short haired lady in the office. Phil the owner and pony tail lady at the front desk are absolutely "deplorable". I found much nicer marinas and marina owners shopping around for a new home. If you arent one of them, you are not in..take that...
