We went there for the first time and were very positively surprised. The museum is rich. You have the oldest house of Chatham preserved and furnished as it was in the 19th century. Barbara delivered the guided tour of the Main House beautifully and I loved soaking in her knowledge of the property, as well as the area. I have been coming to Eastham my whole life and this was my first time to the museum. We had a fine tour given by Kevin Wright. Connected to the museum is a room art exhibit of some Chatham residents by Alice Stallknecht , a local and matiomally known painter, who shows the people in contemporary clothing, representing biblical themes.
