BlueCross Healthy Place at Highland Park — Attraction in Chattanooga

The playground needs to be lit up needs more light it's a beautiful place for my kids to play but as a parent it is not safe at night time because it has hardly no light out there the playground needs more light y'all need to put more light out there because we be out there at night time and a whole lot of more kids be out there we would be more grateful and feel more safer at the playground if it had more light for the night time need to put up more light poles around the playground and in the playground but it is a beautiful place to go I really do enjoy myself and my kids...

Super cool park but it’s not really for the community. It’s for the schools. They don’t allow any of the community to use the park until late at night when young kids are eating dinner and going to bed or on the weekend when it’s super crowded. I wish I had known about the extremely limited time at the park for the community. I would have been a lot less excited for that long time while it was being built. So excited for so long to just be let down especially for a stay at home mom.

This park clearly says it's open to the public during weekends and school breaks. It's currently summer break and the bathrooms are not open! I called the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (since they supposedly upkeep the park) to let them know and the lady basically told me I was SOL and that the park wasn't technically open to the public... even though it's posted on the sign that it is. My 4 year old ended up having to use the bathroom...
