It's been years since I was here last. I remember liking this place the last time I came. Recently, I met up with a friend here and we both enjoyed our orders and time here.
I ordered an iced Milk & Honey Latte with oat milk. I was also surprised to see an assortment of wraps and sandwiches by the counter. So I picked up a Chicken Salad sandwich. I loved my sandwich, it was so delicious. One thing about me, I love a good chicken salad sandwich and I was satisfied. My latte was tasty too. The oat milk was creamy, it complemented the espresso well. It was a little sweeter than I would like, and it got better for me after getting watered down a bit. But that's just my preference. I'm sure that if I were to order another drink again, I could just ask for less sweetener.
There's many places to sit: there's an upstairs area, a separate room with so many seating options, high tables and chairs, etc. It felt like there were more people who were studying and working rather than chatting. So we were trying to be mindful and not talk super loud.
Also they have a free parking lot right outside which was great. So there's a school right across the street from the cafe. At the time my friend and I left the cafe, there were a bunch of students walking after their school day ended I presume. But when I was trying to leave, there were parents who would park in the parking lot (not in a parking space) and block a couple cars while waiting for their kids to get out. So it took me a good 10-15 minutes for me to leave my space and get out of the parking lot because of the car parked right in front of me. That's just one thing to keep in mind if you visit.
I really enjoyed this place, I'd definitely visit again. It's a 4.5/5 for me. Next time I'd definitely come early and leave early so leaving the parking lot won't be as difficult or...
Read moreNot just one, but two!.. the only two.. both employees were nothing but rude to me from the get go. ??? So, the "12yr old" young man, w piercings at the register had no facial expressions at all, said nothing friendly or inviting and mumbled so bad while taking my order, I had to lean in several times to help him do his job. The young, black woman w frosted dreads served several customers in front of me and all I ordered was a warm Americano. Finally she calls out an iced Americano and when I remind her it's supposed to be hot, she looks me dead in the face hatefully, and says "it must not be yours then, huh?" Ok, so you're serving more customers in front of my simple and overpriced order.. So I apologize and go sit down.. NO ONE comes to get the drink!! When she finally made time for mine, a cup barely 3/4 full and luke warm is all I got. Thanks, "whatever your name is" cafe, but no thanks. If I want to be judged that hard based on my appearance, I'll go back 25yrs to high school 😂
Update 12/10/24 I can't believe management doesn't care about my experience while visiting their cafe. I was nothing but kind to your staff and I should have made a big deal out of the coldest, worst cup of coffee I've ever been served and the horrible attitude...
Read moreI entered Together Cafe on a Monday morning. As someone who occasionally struggles with sensory issues, I was immediately struck with how quiet and comfortable the place was. It was well lit but not uncomfortably so. It was also very clean. The people working there were very kind and hardworking. They were cleaning the windows while I was there. I had an iced americano that I greatly enjoyed. I spent about 30 minutes sitting and drinking it and all the folks there remained quiet and immersed in their own lives. Many of them seemed to be studying. This was my first experience in a coffee shop (excluding take-out) and I will surely do it again. A truly wonderful experience. A...
