On top of that "store" being a giant mess to the point it feels almost strategically set up for you to break something so you have to buy it. The prices are outrageous on what they claim to be "vintage." In reality it is just out of date trash collected most likely from other thrift stores at lower prices. They also treat you as if they just assume you're going to steal. So they follow you around awkwardly through the heaps of precariously placed items. DO NOT bring children there. It is entirely not set up for any kids to be safe navigating through there and everyone looks at you as if you are a pariah. Also beware if you live anywhere close to that place. On the weekend they blast music so loud you can hear the poorly curated soundtrack reverberating through all adjacent residential neighborhoods. This establishment it's the epitome of delusional "me first" business practices that don't really contribute to the community around them other than being a noise pollution source and an eyesore.
Edit to reply- I love when owners just tell customers they are wrong when they don't agree with -their- experience to try and save public face. It's a wonderful business practice... I have been in your store three separate occasions and every experience was the same. We both know that I am not referring to you simply playing music on a little Bluetooth speaker.. you have music blasting through the neighborhood for "events" on giant speakers with an amateur DJ playing dubstep crap and I literally had to call the cops to confront the situation yesterday (a Sunday) because the "decibels met the criteria for a noise complaint." Which I will continue to do in those circumstances. This is a residential neighborhood. People live with their children and pets and your "entertainment" is incredibly disturbing to peoples home life to have to deal with regularly. Just ignorant, privileged adult children kind of thinking and behavior. This response is the delusional practice I already referred to. Everyone around knows the truth anyways. Thanks for hammering in my point. And yeah, the one stars do add up.. to one big, bad public rating. Get your head straight and treat you neighbors with respect instead of making enemies for no actual reason other than to...
Read moreIncredibly disappointed in this business. We have lived here for decades, and even with Ziggys we never had our neighborhoods bothered. We lived in harmony and peace and quiet. Since this business moved into our residential neighborhood every other month there is loud music playing all day. Multiple calls to the owner receives nothing but rudeness and bad attitude. I said maybe it could be a restaurant again - and she said it will never be a restaurant or bar again. Okay............Can you turn down the music? No we need to entertain our guests at an event. Okay..................Could you be a good neighbor? No. Okay. I would never give $$$$$ to someone this rude, nasty and...
Read moreI have only stopped in to shop at this store once and haven’t been back. First thing I noticed was that there wasn’t any AC and it was in the middle of July. This in itself made it uncomfortable to shop. Secondly, the place was filled with the smell of marijuana. In my opinion to have a place of business open to the public with it smelling like you just burned one down is extremely unprofessional. Lastly, there is wood furniture some with cloth cushions for sale that is left outside exposed to the rain. In general, not a good experience. I won’t...
