I was actually leaving from next door at REV and passed this small sweet spot on the way to my car. Never having been in there, figured I'd check it out. Upon entering, it was immediately very calming. The gentleman behind the counter was quick to welcome me and ask if he could help me. I explained this was my 1st visit & would like to check out their menu. He gladly handed me a physical menu and also pointed to the wall where everything is listed. I ask about teas and ended up leaving with a hot chocolate as it was a brisk morning. My hot chocolate was hot but not to the point I had to wait 30 minutes to drink it (which I was more than happy about). It was absolutely delicious & as I scanned the Cafe while waiting for the hot chocolate. I was amazed at how sweet and gentle everything was and felt. They also have a small patio to the side with plenty of seating & what appeared to be heaters (this will be amazing to stay warm around with the coming season). They had a small area set up with straws, napkins, and utensils. The menu has so many wonderful sounding dishes and drinks to pick from. I'll be visiting often. The young man explained what his favorite dish is so I have to give that a try asap. I'd definitely recommend this sweet spot. I don't think your choice would be of regret. They have great prices too. It is from what I remember. Mostly vegan but very healthy and tasty sounding options. Give them a try 💫💫💫💫💫 edit to add to I can also now highly recommend the Gingersnap Latte as well as just the iced gingersnap. They are delicious!!! Also the oil free chocolate chip cookie is so good that I'll be grabbing one...
Read moreI got a smothered burrito and it was so filling that I didn’t have to eat another meal the rest of the day, not even for supper. The food was rich and flavorful, so much so that when I tried just one bite of someone else’s Miso salad I pictured myself eating the whole meal. I tried a bite of someone else’s smoothie bowl & thought it tasted healthy in a delicious way. I had an orange limeade to drink. It wasn’t very sweet because of the lime but I really enjoyed the sourness of it. It wasn’t too sour to drink and I thought orange and lime was a unique combination instead of the more common lemon lime. I love that our food was in paper instead of plastic. On the back it said it was 20% recycled paper. Hopefully things are moving in the direction where all paper can be 100% recycled for all businesses! I hope also that we are moving away from plastic lining inside of paper food boxes if possible. I think the inside of the boxes had a very thin plastic lining so that you wouldn’t make holes in the box with your utensils as you ate, but have yet to find any packaging better most anywhere else unless the paper is thicker & doesn’t need the...
Read moreThis place is esthetically pleasing from the moment you step in the door and it maintains that vibe in the presentation of the food. The people that work their are very friendly and helpful. With all that said, I would not eat there again.
I don’t totally know how to describe what I tasted but I will try to in the sentences that follow. The mango smoothie we had was off. It had a weird powdery taste to it that left a nasty aftertaste. The vegan queso that smothered the burrito was also off. The flavoring was all wrong. By far the worst vegan queso I have ever had. The cilantro lime sauce left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. The jackfruit fake meat also tasted strange. It was like they were trying to hard. As a vegan myself I was honestly embarrassed by this restaurant. To me it’s places like this that get us laughed at. Vegan food can be healthy and at the same time taste amazing. I really hope this place can improve the taste of their food and live up to their current 4.9...
