We have been going to this park for a little getaway in our 5th wheel for 20 years plus. We have enjoyed walking around going down by the water, but the last few times we have noticed a lot more activity and not for the good. This weekend was our last, next to us there were cars coming in and out between 12:30 and 1:30 in the morning.people walking around by our trailer, had to go out and ask someone to move ,parked in front of our truck. Didn't walk down by the water as there was an older motor home with stuff all over outside parked for the weekend. It's a shame, nice park we used to really enjoy it. Use to tell a lot of people about it, unfortunately...

A nice municipal park in Chehalis that is very easy to access from the 5 Freeway. The park offers a large Pavilion and multiple shaded areas for picnicking. A children’s play park can be found towards the north end. There are soccer fields and lighted baseball fields on site. Use of the sport fields must be scheduled with the city.

There is a campground area as well that is located on the south end of the park near the large pavilion. There are approximately two dozen, back in campsites which all appear to have electric and water. A dumpsite is located near the bathroom/showers and requires a...

Price to stay here is great at $20 buck a night, but you can only stay a week every 3 months or something like that. It would be a great place if they kept it better maintained. The sites were pretty muddy and full of leaves. It was quiet as it was fall time. The showers you pay for, but there's no way to adjust your water temperature so it's a lukewarm shower. They do have people come stay in their cars there so that was a little uneasy. Not saying those people are all bad because I know people do fall on hard times, good people too, but you still have...

Multiple different areas to utilize for sports and or games, also camping facilities that are well-maintained with easy to follow directions and signage explaining overnight fees and rules. The caretakers are close by in the event that you might need help and give an extra sense of security. There is a little river area for the kids to swim in which they spent all day doing so and had the best time!

Nicely maintained park. Clean bathrooms, picnic areas, and many places to dispose of trash. Plenty of parking, too. Many ball fields for soccer and baseball. Giant grass field for whatever with great shade trees to chill and enjoy the view of Mt. Saint Helens.

Park was gated off but few were still walking around enjoying the park. We walked down to the river and spotted these little frogs. Trails, outdoor sport fields, playground. Nice park for the location, small town feels.
