HANDS DOWN THE BEST COMIC SHOP IN THE AREA FOR COLLECTORS OF COPPER BRONZE AND SILVER AGE COMICS! Since it's been open I haven't felt the need to go to another comic book store, Mark the owner is a great guy I go at least once a week cause he has what I'm looking for mainly silver and bronze age I do like some of the newer stuff out there but my main focus is the older comics which makes his shop perfect for me, Mark is a friendly guy and knows his stuff he will gladly help you out with any questions he is not one of those comic sellers that is pushy in your face or the type that just totally ignores you another thing I like about Mark he truly cares for the comics he sells, you go into some shops and the comics are loose or in old dirty bags and boards but his are in nice high quality mylars making each comic feel like you are getting a prize or gift it just shows me how much time and care he puts into everything he sells and I'm not talking about the special comics keys, 1st appearances, etc he has a section of $2 comics and they are in the mylars too and you can find some great comics in those boxes his pricing is awesome oh I'll tell you what his shop is like! We all wait for comic conventions and shows wait a month or more at a time for one to come around then stand in the lines and run around crazy looking for the best deals and comics well that is what his shop is! without the waiting and you have all the time you need to look around and find exactly what you want and he gets new great finds in every week that's why I go at least once a week I never get tired of going there he has so much more at his shop than just silver/bronze age comics but that is what I know best so that's all I'm talking about but he has albums, toys, monster magazines all kinds of cool stuff I'm sure once you check it out you'll be making weekly trip there too! Read moreI been collecting comics for over 35 years and Palace Plunder is one of the best shop I have come across. If you are looking for a copy of Amazing Spider-Man 42 they have it(or they did before I bought it). The store is filled with key issues both personal and those sought after by collectors. Mark, the owner is an ultra nice guy who is helpful and engaging, while allowing you to look around and get a sense of all the treasures that are in stock. The pricing is reasonable and you will find yourself leaving with a healthy stack of books and not feeling you overpaid. It's the kind of store that you will go out of your way to hit, if you are either a personal collector or even another store looking to add some spice to your wall book selection. Personally I have made huge leaps in filling out bronze and silver age portions of Batman, Detective, Amazing Spider Man and the X-Men runs that I am working on thanks to Mark's deep and ever changing selection(he also has a healthy selection of Golden age books). He's taken his years as a convention dealer and brought them to a brick and mortar, must visit...
Read moreI'm so glad this shop opened up right down the street from my house! Not only is it super close, but the selection Mark has is fantastic. Current issues, back issues, and plenty of deals abound in this store. I used to bounce around from shop to shop looking for what I need, but that's no longer necessary. Along with a great selection of wall books which are constantly being updated, Mark also has a good variety of toys and figures. He even has a section with LPs, which has helped boost my vinyl collection. There's a little bit for everyone here at Plunder Palace, and Mark could not be a nicer guy. He goes out of his way to order stuff for my wife and I, stuff that he wouldn't normally carry, and he also sets aside stuff that he knows I would be interested in (basically anything Punisher related for me, and Star Wars for my wife). Overall, this shop has been a blessing to anyone remotely close to the cherry hill area. Keep up the...
