I visited today and many of the trails were too muddy to continue very far after the recent rain. That said, I really loved this park. In a short time I was able to make some awesome nature sightings (great blue heron, osprey, turtles, birds). If you continue all the past the pond and up the hill, you can cross the street to another park with a pond and even more nature sightings. This whole area is awesome. I'll definitely be back!

We hiked the south side of the park from the Hopkins Pond parking area, to King's Highway, and back around again. It's a cool little area with interesting plants, birds, and marshes/fields. The trail is well defined, flat, and with the exception of two areas dry. Be careful if you want to wander off the trail though. There. Is. Poison. Ivy. Everywhere.

Great park for walking or riding trails, or even a picnic, kid friendly (we took a 3 yo and 6 yo) as well on terms of terrain and scenery. We went for the dinosaur site however and that mini exhibit was not along any visible walking path. We did drive through a neighborhood after our walk to go see it and it was definitely worth a quick visit.

This is one of the best places in Camden County, Cherry Hill, to walk, run, bike ride, take the kids for skating while you exercise, or just to enjoy the scenery. There is a very nice gazebo; babbling brooks; trails; picnic tables; a playground called Jake's Place - amazing by itself; handicapped parking; street parking; & historic sites like the old Barclay Farmstead. Definitely something for everyone! Did I mention basketball courts and outdoor workout gym equipment? (Just be aware that some areas may be partially restricted due...

This is a nice place to walk. Depending on how you do it, you can make a two or three mile walk out of it. It's usually cool-ish in the summer because the path is mostly shaded. They recently refurbished several of the bridges on the path, which was a bit disruptive when it was taking place, but a very nice improvement. The only downside is it can get pretty muddy in places. They have been trying to address this by putting down stone in those places....

Pennypacker park is a different experience every visit. We've been here in late winter and summer. It's a very nice hike with well organized and mostly wide trails for walking, jogging, or biking. Summer was wet so try it after a dry spell if you dont like the wetness. Winter was a nice walk with no leaves marning more scenic. Dogs are being walked and lots of geese. Goslings are due in april or may so get those phones to 100% before...
