Absolutely amazing! The indoor tropical plants are incredible and everything is so beautiful. Such an unexpected adventure! Outside, there's something called The Paul Smith Children's Village and I think it's a lot of fun for all ages! I loved the kinetic sculptures and watching the water travel down the troughs. It was also so cool to take a look inside their greenhouse - they've got so many seedlings started and I can't wait to return later in the season so see everything has been planted! I also enjoyed walking around the outdoor garden although there wasn't too much in bloom, but it's still a lovely garden. Watch out for the geese! đ I crossed paths with a family and some baby ducklings and received a few hisses, so I was sure to steer clear! Overall, I had a great day at the Cheyenne Botanical Gardens! And guess what - free admission! (They do accept donations in lieu of collecting a fee.)

WOW! So Impressed! Visiting my family in Greeley, CO from Las Vegas and we decided to drive up to Cheyenne for the day. I've been to the botanical gardens in Denver and in Ft. Collins. First one was too big, second one was too small, but this one was just right. The indoor atrium is so nice with the banana tree and the turtles and a great relief from the almost 100 degrees it was outside. Such pretty flowers all around. Not sure how much the Barbie movie paid you but seemed like all the flowers were somehow pink. The area outside was nice as well. The gardens in the back with the herbs and trees that reach out to the lake behind. The area in the front with the bond and water features. And the Archimedes screw was a nice touch of education. All of that and more and to top it off it's all free. I have yet to not be impressed by a visit to Cheyenne.

Beautiful gardens given the size and location of Cheyenne. I donât understand why the gardens have any bad reviews, theyâre honestly one of the prettiest places around town. Theyâre gardens, sometimes the flowers bloom and sometimes they donât. This is a lovely place available to our community and I thoroughly enjoy walking here every season. The indoor space has really progressed and every time I visit I see a new plant or installation. The outdoor gardens are pleasant to stroll through even in the colder seasons because of all the evergreens. I imagine that the childrenâs area would be endlessly entertaining for kids. There are many interactive components and even a âsecret garden.â Nice structures, ample benches throughout the park, enough light in the evenings, and maintained sidewalks. Itâs lovely for both visitors and residents.

The children's area was very eye pleasing and looked very interesting. Unfortunately I got there 5 minutes before they were closing so I just did a quick walk through. But even though I was rushed, I enjoyed the time I was there. Because of the time I got there, I didn't spend anytime inside the building to look at what was in there. The grounds are open after the building hours, so I spent time walking around. It wasn't what I was expecting. I was wanting to learn a lot about the plants and what would thrive in the area. They did have some signs in the different areas, but it didn't give me what I wanted. They have benches all around and if you wanted to just sit and look and meditate, then you would probably enjoy it.
