I'm not going to lie. The associate Shane seemed very friendly so I'll give them that, but their offers on trade-ins are almost criminal lol. Got a quote one 20 ps2 games CIB as well as a ps2. Price chart has me at $275. It's important to mention that when you sell your used games to these local shops you can never expect market value as they need to make a profit. I was offered $50 STORE CREDIT for everything. Their response was that the majority of the games were "sports" titles and they couldn't offer much. 5 of the 20 games were sports titles. I am aware those are worth pennies. The rest of the games were not. In fact, a majority of them were available on their website for sale $10+ each.
I called another store and got an offer for over $50 CASH on the ps2 alone. The entire bundle well over $120. When I brought this up they told me the STORE CREDIT offer was for the ps2 as the other games didn't have "much value" yet they wanted to offer $50 for everything lol. So yeah, $50 STORE CREDIT of all things for a ps2 and then I guess they were just expecting the additional 20 games for free since 5 of them were "sports games", despite several of the games being listed on their website for close to $20 each.
I'm sure I'll get some nonsense response but don't beleive the excuses. Reading their responses to other negative reviews I can already tell it'll be nonsense. I understand the need to make a profit but this is bad business. I wanted to give them a try because I love supporting local businesses, but this isn't it.
Until they revamp their pricing model and be a little more honest with customers bringing in trade-ins it's a 1 star for me. Review could change if they work on this.

Read moreThese guys rock! Brought in the family Wii console to have it diagnosed to see why it wasn’t turning on. They ran a free diagnostics right there and determined it was the power cord and actually had a NES brand power supply in stock for a cheaper price than Amazon. They explained that they would recommend to buy a refurbished Wii if we had to versus repairing one to save money. Honest people.
Bonus: The selection of games and retro classic consoles is phenomenal. A quick search showed their pricing to be more than competitive than online sources. Have to leave the wallet at home before going in...
Read moreWent in looking for a loose gamecube game I saw on their website and sure enough it was there waiting for me. Owner over heard me talking about any empty gamecube cases for sale and immediately came out of the back room with one in hand and for a price no one could turn down! Some retro games and accessories are hard to find for a modest price nowadays, but with a store like this close by I'll definitely be taking a lot more of business here before trying ebay or other online retailers.
