Six of us arrived on a Saturday afternoon to be greeted shortly after getting in the door, only to be informed that it would be over an hour wait because they have to take the people on the bus tours first. We were also told that we could not put our name in. Asked if I could at least have a growler refilled, went out to the car to get the bottle, which was parked right outside the door, came back in and placed my order. In a matter of 5 minutes, a couple walked in and asked to do the wine tasting. The same person that told me it would be an hour wait, gave them the tasting info, took payment, and told them where to go to sample. Shortly thereafter, three more people came in and asked for the wine tasting, same person took payment and gave them the information and instructed on where to go. I was standing at the counter waiting for my growler to be filled watching this unfold. I asked why my group and I were told that we couldn’t do the tasting but yet she took 5 more people. I was informed that the bus group left sooner than expected. Apparently, an entire coach bus filled up in 5 minutes while I walked to my car and back. I only saw a few people leave. Read moreI had to say something twice before being able to enjoy my tasting. The patio out back there was a huge curb to get to seating or had to travel through muddy grass to get to a picnic table. There was only one booth that was level enough for me to transfer other than that there was no accessible seating and at that I had to make them kick out a party that was sitting there which made me feel awful because I hate being that person in a wheelchair that has to do that to people. The person behind the bar said the lower bar part that was there for people with disabilities to be able to not blindly taste was inconvenient for the workers which again made me feel like being disabled is an inconvenience for you guys there. I do not recommend tasting there and buying bottles of wine will be a lot cheaper at Martins in...
Read moreThe staff was extremely rude and short with us. We had never been in before and had questions about where we needed to go and what we needed to do. Instead of answering our questions we were given short, rude answers and eye rolls. Once the nice lady behind the checkout counter told us, we were met with the same rude lady behind the bar. She refused to make any sort of eye contact, only served us when the other man was busy, slammed around glasses huffing and puffing. We were there for a good, relaxing time but instead her attitude put a damper on the mood. Such a cute place just sucks the...
