While it is often a bit crowded on nice days, there's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy it still. The lake is beautiful under any circumstances, but catching a sunset right on the edge of the water in this park is amazing. Plenty of grills, clean bathrooms (for a park!), Plenty of benches, tables and pavilions to meet your needs. We couldn't set up til noon(on the 4th), we were given the wrong pass code to gain entry into the pavilion, they took almost 2 hrs to give us the proper code AND we were charged for not cleaning up other guests mess around the pavilion. We were charged over $200 for the pavilion(which I didn't mind) but had to spend all day shooing other guests away from the bathrooms that were inside, where we were.
