This is probably one of the most beautiful parks in Westchester County and you get to see beautiful waterfronts on all sides of the island. It gets very busy on weekends and traffic is crazy getting in-and-out. However, it's very peaceful and very scenic. I highly recommend a family outing here, as I have visited this park many times throughout my life and I have a home nearby. Glen Island Park is not known to many people so those of you who take advantage of it, get to truly enjoy its peacefulness.
