The Fourth of July experience at Glen Island Park was absolutely spectacular, deserving an enthusiastic 5 out of 5. The park's picturesque setting combined with the festivities created an unforgettable celebration. The breathtaking views of the water, coupled with the dazzling fireworks display, formed a truly magical backdrop.

The event's organization was commendable. The smooth flow of activities, from live music to food vendors, ensured that everyone had a fantastic time. The sense of community and camaraderie among the attendees added to the overall festive spirit.

Glen Island Park's facilities, including clean restrooms and well-maintained grounds, contributed to the comfort of the visitors. The family-friendly environment made it an ideal place for people of all ages to come together and enjoy the holiday.

The accessibility to the park and the ample parking options made it convenient for everyone to join in the celebration. The event's success was a reflection of the careful planning and dedication of the organizers.

For its stunning location, well-organized festivities, and the sense of unity it fostered, the Fourth of July experience at Glen Island Park unquestionably merits a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. It was an evening of joy, patriotism, and cherished memories that will resonate for...

The beach has cleaner sand and water compared to Rye or Mamaroneck. Spacious hot showers and changing rooms. Lifeguards are attentive but not pests. There's rules to obey: no ball playing of any kind, no walking in the water past the red flags. Some people play radios but it's not loud. You're allowed to bring umbrellas and big coolers but no alcohol or glass. Westchester County residents ONLY, who can also bring 5 outside guests. Westchester County Park Pass holders enjoy big savings for parking and admission. NOTE: On the walk from the parking lot to the beach, there are vast BBQ/picnic areas that may be rented by families and community groups. Some are LOUD with throbbing bass from professional DJs. You walk past that to the beach, and once you're in the beach it's...

This park has been part of my family for generations. This is probably one of the most beautiful parks in Westchester County and you get to see beautiful waterfronts on all sides of the island. It gets very busy on weekends and traffic is crazy getting in-and-out. However, it's very peaceful and very scenic. I highly recommend a family outing here, as I have visited this park many times throughout my life and I have a home nearby. Glen Island Park is not known to many people so those of you who take advantage of it, get to truly enjoy its peacefulness. It is tucked away in a corner of West Chester that you'd never thought anything so beautiful could be. But it does exist and it's a part of the landscape. So enjoy...

A beautiful 105-acre park on an island with spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. Weschester County residency is required for admission. There is a beautiful drawbridge that leads to the park. We were lucky to see the bridge being drawn up to allow a boat to transit from the marina to the Long Island Sound. There is a carpark charge to get to the park. During the summer months, a sandy beach is opened for swimming. There is an entrance charge to access the beach. A relaxing place for a day outing, whether it is to hike around the park, picnic, or walk the dogs. Washrooms are dotted around the park, and they are fairly clean. Barbecue pits must be booked in advance.
