I had no idea that this little gem even existed. For Father's day weekend this year I really wanted to do some fishing with my daughter. Our usual spot is the Croton Reservoir on a small rowboat. Unfortunately, we couldn't get there this weekend so we has to stay local. After finding an app that tells you where there are local fishing spots (fishbrain), we finally found this nice little watering hole called Glenwood Lake. I have lived in New Rochelle, only a few blocks away, for the past 8 years and really had no idea this place even existed. It is small, secluded, quiet and a perfect spot to throw the line in the water. First we went mid morning which I think was way too late as it was already about 85 degrees.
