This recently renovated property has a modern look and feel. The beds and bathtubs are very good. The rooms have microwaves, coffee makers (with supplies) and refrigerators. The new floors are vinyl, so if you like carpet, you will not have that cozy feeling beneath your feet. The upside is that bare floors are more hygienic. The A/C- heat works great and has a digital readout where you can select your preferred temperature. There is no swimming pool and a very small outdoor seating area with just two chairs and a little table for smokers. The outdoor seating is actually tucked in among the landscaping just outside the front door. The team members were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast is "grab and go," so if you're expecting waffles or eggs, you'll have to settle for muffins or banana bread. Not too bad, actually. There is coffee, tea, and juice as well. All in all, you will get a clean, comfortable room right in the center of town. It is near churches, shopping, and a few museums, including the classic car museum. We were very satisfied.

We went to Norwich for a family wedding and they booked the red roof inn for everyone to stay. The red roof is located almost in the center of town and it's close to food and some shopping. Just a short walk away are some bars and restaurants and across the street there is a CVS and they have food , drinks and anything else you need. We were definitely apprehensive about staying here but the red roof had just been renovated and was in pretty good shape. Fresh paint, new carpets and a first for me vinyl floors in the rooms. I'm guessing this was to help preserve the rooms since they are in a real snowy place. The bathroom was super clean with no mold or stains, the beds have bed bug covers and no signs of any life. The TV was acting up but once I turned off the power and reset it , it seemed to work fine. Overall for a small town place it's in good shape and clean.
