The Blarney Stone Pub — Restaurant in City of Norwich

First time visiting this pub and it did not disappoint. It was busy but service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was relaxing w great music! Would definitely dine here again.

After dining here the second time lastnight we were disappointed with the lack of service. From start to finish was about an hour & 1/2. It took forever to get our food, and forget about the bill - we asked for the bill multiple times and eventually just approached the bar and asked for it again!! Only one staff up front running the bar and tables on a Friday night?! It was slow enough that it wouldn't have taken much to bring us our bill when we asked the 1st time but after waiting 15 minutes and then a crowd of people coming in and attending to them first, then returning to the bar and continuing to make drinks for others instead of bringing us our bill so we could pay up & leave was very aggravating. May dine here again if they can get their act together on a Friday night.

Went back on 10/9/25 for a 3rd attempt, a party of two, just my son and me. It was busy, but people were coming and going quite regularly. Music was good but a little bit too loud. We sat down at a table, waited 10 minutes before a server came to ask us if we wanted drinks. We're water people and ordered two waters w lemon. Two glasses of water came a minute or two later, no lemon. Ten minutes after that the same server approaches and asks if we still need to order. At that time we ordered our food...and then the long wait...we waited nearly an hour to get our food after placing the order. The same server approached and said she would be checking on our order. I told her we ordered an hour ago and to just make the order to-go at this point. She brought out our boxes and the check. I provided a credit card, signed the slip for the food and we left. Permanently. If it was their goal to have us never return to this establishment, they succeeded. We eat out quite regularly and will absolutely remove this place from our options. Horrible service unless...

Such a Very Trendy and Comfortable Place!! I absolutely love the garage door design in the front! I was pleasantly surprised this is a Family Establishment as well as a Sports "Bar" hence the PUB 😉 The food was incredible and quickly served! My husband and I got the *deep fried cheese curds *chicken tenders and fries *slider burger plate and we were beyond Blown Away!! Wowzers it's SO YUMMY!! 😋 We also treated Ourselves to an Alcoholic Beverage..a *Jack and coke 😋 and a *Dirty Shirley Temple 🤤!!! The staff was super friendly and very punctual with all the people and tables... Overall amazing experience and definitely cannot wait...

Dec 2023: we've come here sporadically for a number of years. In the last year (or so), the pup seems to have undergone a welcomed transition. The food offered is very good pub fare at reasonable (by today's standard) prices. Although we are not usually there at night, the lunchtime and later afternoon atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. In better months, you can sit in a gated area out front, which is great!...
