Cerberus Tech — Attraction in Clayton

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would give zero stars if possible. Had my computer picked up by Caleb in the middle of December for a simple battery replacement. A few weeks later I still hadn’t heard back from him about the repair. I reached out multiple times and finally about a month after pickup he finally responded saying he had to leave the country for family and would fix and return my computer to me soon. An understandable excuse. Again, a couple if weeks go by and still no contact or returned computer. Reached out to Caleb multiple times and to Cerberus themselves and finally after having to threaten to speak with police about a possible theft of a computer they responded saying my computer would be shipped to me within a week and a refund would be issued since the COMPUTER WAS NEVER REPAIRED! Computer arrived within the time frame but almost a month later I have still not received the refund promised. I used this company to try and shop local and when I used a larger corporate company the computer was fixed and returned to me within 4 days. Again… DO NOT USE CERBERUS TECH. Caleb had my laptop for 6.5 weeks (January 11th to February 26th). There was minimal communication during this time from Cerberus, including not answering phone calls or texts, and only answering two emails during that period. The only reason the second email was answered was because I threatened to report my laptop stolen to the police. And then it wasn’t until May 26th that I received the parts I paid for in January, only hearing from Cerberus after again threatening to take legal action.

Every step of the process with them was painful once they received my payment back in January. This is the short version of everything that happened, I could write several more paragraphs with all the details. And by the end of May, FINALLY having my computer and parts, I still had to go pay someone else to do the repair work.

I cannot recommend this company for computer repairs unless you’re okay with no communication and not having your laptop for months. While the few emails I got were always polite and professional, I just can’t recommend the stress of using...

After my PSU (from a bad line of PSU's I had no clue about) crapped out on my streaming PC, I decided to look for someone local to help fix the issue (as my PC case is above my pay grade in installing PSU's). Caleb was super kind and was able to not just fix the issue, but discovered two more I was unaware of (AI0 not installed correctly, and a fan splitter was missing). He fixed everything in less than a day, and did some great wire management for my torture device of a computer case. He answered all my questions, never made me feel silly about some of my concerns, and was just a sweetheart to deal with. I 100% recommend anyone in the Garner/Clayton area that needs their PC fixed or parts installed at a fair price to go check out his buisness.
