My name is Kevona, I have been ordering from primos since I was a little girl! I am 23 years old, EDDDYYY please come back! Eddy always took care of myself and my father when we came to his establishment! For the last 4 years or so his son Carlos has taken over the family business.

My experience has not been to great since Carlos has been running things, in fact I am dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of customer care Carlos has!

I recently on TODAY 1/16/2025 (hoping my experience would be better than the times before) order 2 Philly cheese steaks and fries! Horrible!!! The bread was burnt! There was more bread than meat! Keep in mind I called in to place my order for pick up and clearly asked the lady “do I need to order extra meat because I don’t want to eat just bread”. She ignored my question and proceeded taking my order. Quick question! How do you not know(as the manager {Carlos} that is running things). How many ounces of meat you use in your phillys?

So how can you tell me “the portion sizes have always been the same” 🤣

And when I called to let him know I was dissatisfied with my order. he laughed and proceeded to interrupt me to say “the portion sizes have always been the same and I made your food, I’m experienced enough to know wether the food is good enough to serve” well obviously not! 30/30/30/10 rule! Primos is not my favorite place to eat in town anymore! They have officially ruined my childhood. I wish EDDY would come back🥺🥺

Thank you for at least “caring” enough to give me my money back Carlos!

I was so dissatisfied I forgot to take pictures because I am currently working, my fiancée had to go take...

I have now been waiting over 2 hours for delivery after being told 45 minutes. I called at the hour and a half mark and some kid answered the phone with "Yeah?" and then set the phone down. He told me that they were busy and it was difficult "to get out my way" but that it would get there. Twenty minutes later, the driver called. She was lost. Again. This girl has delivered to us at least 6 times and she ALWAYS GETS LOST. I told her where we were and then she set the phone down and stopped responding. I said hello several times and then hung up. Then Kevin the register guy calls back and when I said hello, he says "Hwy 70? Yeah, yo order is free." He then went on to tell me that after nearly 2 hours, he had prioritized us but that he couldn't guarantee that we would get our order. I hate to see what the customer service looked like for those who were not prioritized. They had already charged our card so we had to call back so they could rerun it for a refund. After some argument, they promised that my order would still be delivered. Fast forward another half hour (for those of you keeping score, we're now over 2 hours into this mess) and still nothing. My husband called again and was told that they had "given up on the delivery" and that if we wanted our food, we would have to come get it. For reference, we live right off Hwy 70; it is absolutely not complicated, if they ever tried delivering it at all. I will FOR SURE be calling the owner next week. Apparently, he doesn't work on the busy weekends. The customer service was absolutely terrible and no one seemed to care about any of the lies or inconvenience. I guess a refund is supposed to...

My husband and I just moved to the Clayton area. We have gotten pizza here three times already and it is absolutely delicious. However today I called to place an order for delivery and whoever answered the phone answered can you hold on a minute and I was on hold for over four minutes. I hung up and called again and the same man answered the phone and said hold on again. I waited and hung up and called back and he said the same thing. No hello or thanks for calling just hold on! I got mad because you don't answer a professional business where customers pay money for your food by saying hold on rudely! I asked for his name he refused to give me his name I asked for a manager he said that nobody would want to talk to me. He said if I wasn't going to place an order then he was going to hang up the phone. He hung up on me and I called back and requested to speak to a manager and he hung up on me again! I called back again and he yelled at me and said ma'am I don't have time for this right now! Then he said why are you so entitled!! I hope The manager sees this review and I would love to be contacted because this is unbelievable!!! I have never in my life been treated like this. This is not the way you should be treated by an employee who works in customer service and let alone takes orders over the phone and greets customers in such a horrendous way! He would not give me his name And said that I was weird for asking that but today is May 19th and I called at 5:40 PM in the afternoon. I don't care how good the food is! If this is how the manager allows his employees to treat customers like this then you've lost...

I have always liked this place and I hope this review helps correct the ship. As always, just the facts. Ordered take out for an 18 inch cheese pizza and a calzone. Pizza is fantastic. Plenty of sauce, plenty of cheese. The calzone fell flat. A calzone should have mozzarella, ricotta and then topping of choice stuff inside a slightly risen pocket of dough folded over and crisped. This calzone was flat, soggy, barely stuffed but did have garlic. Their picture of a calzone on the menu tells me they know how to do it right. Correct the problem and back to awesome please! Price was appropriate for the great value of pizza with a calzone. I still recommend this Pizza Shop!

Wow, was it good piping hot pizza! The dough is amazing, the sauce has great flavor, and the cheese is just right. Primo Pizza is my favorite pizza place in the Clayton area and even beats other Raleigh pizza joints, in my opinion. To top it off, the customer service is great and they will actually talk to you with a smile, which can be hard to find these days. I definitely recommend eating in for the freshest of pizza that is just absolutely on point. It's a little cramped inside and could use a little sprucing up inside, but it doesn't upset me enough to knock a star off.

We wanted some real pizza so we decided Primo Pizza in Clayton was where we were going. We used the slice delivery app for the 1st time. Worked smoothly. We got garlic knots, cheese sticks and 2 16 inch pies (pizzas) one cheese and a meat lovers. The garlic knits smelled really good but didn't seemed fried and a couolemwete burnt. It's ok the cheese sticks were decent. The pizza was as expected very good very large and filling. Give it a try of you haven't already.
