Our group had an advanced class tonight. We comprised of myself, my husband and our 2 adult kids. It was a fun activity to honor my husbands birthday. The reservation process was super easy. We communicated via text and then I prepaid using a secure platform. We arrived and our instructor, Casey was ready for us. We all made something different. This is not your ordinary house with garage! But of course that’s to be expected on Larchmere. So it’s no surprise, that something creative awaits inside! The house is a store and occasional classroom, and the garage is a workshop for a blacksmith and glass blower. A demonstration from the blacksmith was entertaining! Step by step, he displayed his expertise in spiral making out of iron. He offers classes to those looking to play blacksmith for a day. It’s not something you see everyday, so I was quite impressed! My husband and I were looking for a fun date night to celebrate our 15 year anniversary, so we booked the glass blowing and blacksmithing class. We were beyond excited and the class surpassed our expectations! Casey and Cassidy were incredible, patient, kind teachers who have such a passion for their craft! I can’t recommend this place enough- we couldn’t stop smiling and talking about how awesome it was all night!!
