Wow, there’s a lot to say! But let me start with this—the owner truly cares about his customers and their experience! The Neapolitan pizza here is the best I’ve ever had in Cleveland, Ohio! Coming from an Italian family, with my mother being from Italy, I’ve had authentic pizza countless times in Italy. This pizza comes incredibly close to that experience. The sauce was fresh and flavorful, perfectly complementing the high-quality cheese. My friends and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who shared that he studied in Naples—the birthplace of Neapolitan pizza. He also explained why he called the restaurant "La Pecora." What impressed me most was his dedication to customer satisfaction—he customizes the dough and toppings to each guest’s preference, whether it's how the crust is formed or how the toppings, like mortadella, are cooked. He’s down-to-earth, and I even got to check out the kitchen and their authentic brick oven from Italy—how awesome is that?! No wonder this place consistently receives 5-star reviews! This restaurant absolutely deserves recognition, and I highly recommend it—far more than Il Rione and Il Vero. The level of customer service here is outstanding! An owner personally checking on customers? That’s how it should be! Other restaurants could learn from him. Do yourself a favor and check this place out—it’s worth it! And if you’re in the mood for Spanish food, the owner also runs Barroco, where you can order delicious Spanish dishes while enjoying your pizza. I’ve had Barroco before, and it’s fantastic! Next time, I’m definitely trying his pasta. Way to go, Juan!

Every time I come here (I've been here three times), I'm floored that there isn't a line out the door and there are empty tables. This is pizza (and pea soup and gelato) that will make you feel alive again. More human! More connected! I want to shake everyone by the shoulders who hasn't been here and plead for them to visit. This is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. You can taste the love, compassion, and expertise that comprises each slice. The ingredients are simple and fresh, the service is impeccable, and, I can't stress this enough, this is food that will feed your soul. I've never been to Italy, so I can't tell you if this is authentic. I don't care if it is. I don't need to go to Italy if I have pizza like this down the street (I'll still go one day). I genuinely think about this pizza every week (my wallet prevents me from eating here every single week); it's pizza that you'll never forget. Thank you Juan and Carlos for bringing this to Cleveland. We're so lucky. By the way, I have one recommendation: pink sauce. I can't really do plain tomato sauce, but I just know ya'll could do pink sauce right.

The space is warm and inviting. We sat up on the cozy balcony that gives a view of the rest of the room and out the front widows to the street. It’s a really nice touch of Neapolitan authenticity having pictures of Maradona all over! I had their Birth of Venus cocktail - a take on a traditional spritz but more complex and herbal, very nice indeed! Our server recommended the split pea soup as a starter. You may not usually be into split pea soup, but this is probably not like any you’ve had before. It’s so rich, hearty, ribbons of shaved Parmesan, exactly what you want on a cold day. Then there’s the pizza. This is proper Neapolitan pizza, crust has a lightly crisp exterior with a nice smattering of charred spots. The inside is tender as can be. Nice quality topping including whole slices of prosciutto on our pizza. Having had some excellent pizza at various place in Rome, Venice, Florence, and elsewhere, in the world I can say that La Pecora had really got a good thing going here! What a great experience! Can’t wait to go back!
