This is a firsthand constructive criticism. Good worship service, but it is obvious that the pastor is not a praying man. It’s not about how wonderful the pastor is or how eloquently he speaks, and preaches, it’s about how much time he spends on his knees to get his sermons from the Lord. People are STARVING to hear from God, but the ministers are too busy with…planning, showmanship, entertainment and fun for the people. The Lord made it very clear… “…my house shall be called a house of prayer…,” but how many houses have you seen that are a house of prayer?
Many churches in the U.S. don’t have praying ministers, the churches have become entertainment centres, I haven’t heard in all the churches I’ve attended anything about living an absolute righteous, holy and obedient life for the Lord, all I hear is a bunch of elementary Bible teachings, and a whole lot of nothing, or good old Jesus did it all, lawless grace…etc., an hour and a half is wasted. A church is as good as it’s pastor, and if a church you’re attending is not challenging you to overcome sin, live an absolute righteous, holy and obedient life for the Lord, then you are not growing and your resurrection will be very poor; read Daniel chapter 12, and Hebrews 11.
This is our only chance to overcome and have a wonderful “First Resurrection,” all the wonderful promises in the book of revelation is for the overcomer. Remember the parable of the sower? Some reap 30 fold, some reap 60 fold, and others reap 100 fold. Only the 100 fold will make the First Resurrection, everyone else, Christian or not, whom haven’t “reaped” Christ’s personality, behaviour, and nature, which is 100 fold, will end up in the second resurrection which is a thousand years after the First Resurrection.
Those people who haven’t overcome will be ruled, governed, disciplined, ministered…etc. this person will not rule with Christ and sit at His right hand, IT IS A TREMENDOUS LOSS… “many are called, but few are chosen…” “…narrow is the gate that leads to LIFE (not Heaven, but LIFE) and there be “few” who find it.” So much for… once saved, always saved. Salvation is not a “ticket” to Heaven, salvation is not relocation, rather, salvation is a transformation from the “image” of the fallen nature of Adam to the glorious nature of Christ.
This process of salvation takes a lifetime, it all depends upon our diligence and dedication. These pastors and ministers who are NOT praying and spending plenty of time on their knees to hear from God for sermons and directions have forfeited their own “CROWN” but they have also taken the crown of those who hear them....
Read moreI came to this church for the Collingworth family concert yesterday. But I can't believe that at this magnificent church, I can't find a wheelchair sitting area. So I asked the usher, but I got an answer that said “yes we do have, look at the right hand side back corner, that is the wheelchair area for you.” I answered I don't want to sit in the corner for this concert. “If you don't like it, we have another place at the left hand side, the back corner, you can choose either one.” I rejected them, they threatened to call Marshal.
If you are elderly people, be careful! ramps are everywhere at this church, go to the restroom and every single door entering the Sanctuary are ramps. One lady fell down bumping her head at the ramp into the Sanctuary yesterday. However the ramps from the handicap parking lots across the street into the church is a bump. You definitely need somebody to assist you.
This church is asking for the Lord's mercy and grace everyday, but they are very stingy to show mercy to the weak and needy.
I also told the Collingworth family, do not use this venue in the future. This church has Marshall but no...
