Lee is a great school, great staff and beautiful campus. However, like most things even at a private Christian school, politics come in to play. I graduated from here. I originally was in a program with strict requirements for advancement, and failing benchmarks was meant to cause dismissal. Well one semester due to my own fault I failed benchmarks, and was dismissed from the program, I understood it, I accepted it, it was my own fault, and when I tried to debate it. I was informed it is the policy and can not be overlooked. So I moved on. However some time later I was informed that a similar situation happened, to a different student. Same exact thing, they failed the same benchmark. However I was told they were actually pushed through and allowed to go forward despite this policy. When I confront them about it, I was informed that this student had a relative who was high up in Lee, and decided they believe their niece was above the standers they set forever one else and pulled string so they were allowed to be push through. As to this day the situation is still going on, and both the student and high ranking person at Lee has received no consequences. I only want this issue to be made aware because even if you Think Lee, a private Christian school, this wouldn’t happen. Trust me it happens. It ridiculous that they act and behave and set standards for there student, but it is only for the ones they choose to. There was no other reasons, no behavior issues, no continuous fails, I maintain 3.3 gpa in all classes, the benchmark was outside of school testing. I jsut slipped up and got lazy and made mistakes and the school punished me, and not the student who did the same thing. I believe the other student had also been in trouble for drinking on campus, and that had been swept under...
Read moreWould stay away from this school as an online transfer student. Their offered business program online is severely underdeveloped. Some of the required classes are not even online to complete the undergraduate online business program. Professors and the administration are unprofessional in meeting an online student's need. They are inefficient in proper communication with clear responses. The administration is unsympathetic to a student's financial circumstances. A relative of mine, due to financial reasons, is essentially forced to quit this school. Financial aid does not enable my relative to receive more federal aid because my relative surpassed the 120 credit hours (from the complication of accepting credit hours of previous schools). Despite surpassing the credit hours yet still needing to take many more classes to fulfill the major requirements, this school is not understanding of my relative's situation. Unless you obtain 4.0, you can "possibly" receive academic scholarships, but it is unrealistic to place this type of high expectations for a middle-aged working parent to excel to this standard with school work. My relative was about to finally conquer a 30+ year battle of obtaining a bachelor's degree through a Christian school (starting with her first school closing down). I didn't expect this Christian institution of higher education, where my relative has dedicated their life to the ministry with the church denomination affiliated with this school, to be so cold-hearted and greedy. This is a complete disappointment towards the school and heartbreak towards...
Read moreThe school over charges and if you decide to transfer in your first couple years like I did to UTC you end up with a bunch of college credits that don't count for nothing because they're all religious orientated up front. Also many parents send their their kids here, because of the Christian influence however just from personal experience many of the kids are twice as rotten, as the kids at UTC just because you know what they say about pastors kids being the worst imagine a school for them to be rebeliouse out of the house and cut loose. Don't waste the time or money send them to a school where they will receive the same education for...
