IDK what your elected officials are doing, but your Halloween Block Party was terrible this year! TOTAL FAILURE AND THE LACK OF PLANNING COULD OF BEEN AN ACTUAL DISASTER!! Stupid is as stupid does..

-The only attractions were city expos, manned by city employees in uniform, food trucks, and the church tents blasting holy music to banish the demons lol. No children's games or really anything cool to give people a reason to come to your event, except walk around the block repeatedly, and continue to put ourselves in your revolving death trap 💥🔪🎯☠️🤣

-The streets were so crowded, it felt like an overcrowded club, way over its fire-safety code limit. We were shoulder to shoulder, and were both stepping on people's heals, and being stepped on. Children disappeared into the crowd just 3 ft from you. You need to double or triple the area blocked off for this event). THIS EVENT WOULD OF BEEN GREAT FOR A TERRORIST ATTACK, MURDER OR KIDNAPPING, or all 3!! CPD should be ashamed at themselves, for approving this event. All the children were in one place, and a single car or explosive device would of been devastating!

-Maybe the worst thing, I've ever seen any organization do for Halloween EVER: Instead of trick-or-treating from store front to store front, like they used to do this event, THEY MADE TRICK-OR-TREATERS WAIT IN A CITY BLOCK LONG LINE, THAT TOOK UP A WHOLE STREET, TO BE RUSHED THROUGH A FOOD PANTRY-ESQUE CANDY QUEUE, WHERE THEY UNCEREMONIOUSLY GOT A PLASTIC GROCERY BAG FULL OF CANDY AND OTHER JUNK, WITH OUT ANY HALLOWEEN PAGENTRY. It looked like an apocalyptic food ration station, without trying to, complete with orange plastic construction fencing 👎🗑️🦝👎

Way to trash up your only remaining worth while event and endanger your patrons, CLEVELAND 👎🦝💔😿

The car show Cruise-In’s are held the fourth Saturday of each month April through October. I believe they start around noon or 1 through the evening. Plenty of nice rides and classic cars! I have been 3 or 4 times and it's the best car show I've been to around the region. Also friendly people right in downtown Cleveland. Theres no admission so it's a free event! There are some food vendors there and there a few places to eat right in the downtown area within walking distance. Defenately worth going to if...
