Closing Time of the Rainforest Exhibit at Cleveland Zoo

The Rainforest at Cleveland Zoo. It's a lovely recreation of an Amazon rainforest complete with wildlife and vegetation. It even has a pool where it "rains" every few minutes and creates a fog like steam that rolls off the water and rises into the air. We were able to walk through the open aviary where birds can and do decide to make you a landing post sometimes! Also got to see a myriad of monkies and marsupials, snakes and bugs and bats. It's a two story experience so bring your hiking shoes or ride the elevator.

Amazing Rainforest right here in Ohio! Great climate rainforest controlled environment all year round. Lots of animals and plant life to look at from all angles. They have birds flying all around you on the second floor. Orangutans are awesome to watch at the center. They also have real rain, thunder, and miat that you can watch all while staying dry on the first floor. Great for all ages and informative and easy to walk through. Food and gifts are also available to purchase here.

Surprisingly big inside, there's a cool spiral staircase or an elevator the you can go up/down. Upstairs the birds get to fly around everywhere, I thought that was nice, lots of cool animals there and I love all the greenery everywhere. It's handicap accessible as well. Also have a nice food court with an outdoor dining area. Overall a nice place and will be returning.

We took our family to the cleveland zoo. This was a group outing. It was very, very nice. Be prepared to do a lot of walking! You can also reserve a scooter 4 about $ 32.00. Some of us hadn't been to the zoo in years! We were able to visit the rain forest it was beautiful, but the pathway was a bit small. I think it's time to refurbish.

This rain forest is beautiful. They recently replaced the Dome and it looks great. All the plants are fascinating and a few years ago I got a chance to see the extremely rare corpse flower bloom. My favorite part of the rainforest is the clouded leopard and ocelot. There is a large enclosure with many bats in it as well.
