Royal Lane Park — Attraction in Clinton

Well today was the first time I ever went to the public pool there and will definitely be the last! Within the first 45 minutes they had one "lifeguard" on duty that had a cast on her arm and was not paying attention to the 8ft part where a young girl jumped in and almost drowned! Three different "lifeguards" came running to help they did drag her out then called a break made everyone get out the pool then wanted to act like they were all attentive.... Large park with lots of space to run, walk, and ride bikes. Nice playgrounds with good equipment. One major complaint, probably the cities responsibility, is the tennis courts. They are not playable, which hopefully the city plans to fix in the future. I'm sure this place works for some people. From what I can see it works real well for old people, because that's who they cater to is the elderly. That's all well and fine. They also do a lot of basketball at the rec center here. Continue to expand into other sports varying types of activities.
