Bojangles — Restaurant in Clinton

One of the worst experiences ever. They better step up their customer service and food quality with 2 more chicken restaurants within a quarter of a mile. Bojangles has always been my favorite chicken restaurant. Tonight there was only one customer in front of me and they had already ordered. I waited 10 minutes to order because cashier was standing in the kitchen area talking. Then I ordered 2 combos grill bites. She only charged for one and when I told her she just walked off with my money for another 5 minutes. I ended up getting cold food and tea with no ice,I am not sure what was going on with no ice,smh. And they gave me 2 boxes and 2 drinks with no bag,I had to ask for a bag. The restrooms were very dirty. And they were talking to each other about it is only 30 minutes to closing and they needed to get things done so they could get out on time. Meanwhile my food was not fit to eat and it took over 20 minutes to get it ordered and bagged up,not cooked it was on the line and obviously old. I have worked in restaurants and if the health inspector would have come in tonight I am fairly certain they would have received a bad score. The steam table was probably off or out of water. I'm sorry but it will be a long time before I go back. I have always loved this location but I will be calling the manager tomorrow. No excuses for bad service or cold food. I don't care if you walk in 5 minutes before closing. Food should always be hot and fresh, and...

Ordered a 3 piece dark with dirty rice, picnic pinto and picnic mac and cheese. Was informed that they didn’t have any rice or beans and it would be 10 minutes for both. Okay, I’ll wait. Lady behind me was told it would be 25 minutes for bo berry biscuits. Said they didn’t have any batches made and that would have to make them. She waited and after 25 minutes, they told her that they forgot to make them. They had a truck pulled in drive thru that came inside and stated that he had also been waiting for roughly 20 minutes. What is going on with this place. How can one place manage to run out of everything they have to offer.

PS May 15 2024 Went for a cheddar bo and a chicken rice bowl. Got pulled up to the trash can and waited for the cheddar bo to cook. Order was given to me and I went home. This would be a 5x5 star review. Except. I ordered 16 piece tailgate. They didnt have breasts would I accept thighs. Ok sure. She said they r big. I said well since there will be 3 that"ll make up difference. Me politely asking for an extra piece of chicken since I wouldn't get what I was paying for. NOPE 2 thighs. Ok whatever. Then they didn't have enough green beans (only 1/2 of container) would I take something else. I did. Surely they would at least put the 1/2 container in box as this was the SECOND thing on my $50 order that I wasn't getting what I paid for.... nope she told the other girl to THROW AWAY the green beans. UNBELIEVABLE.
