"It seems like at Table Mountain Casino, the staff might have misunderstood the 'poker face' concept—they've taken it to a whole new level by sporting a 'stick-up-your-butt' face. Maybe a dance-off would help loosen things up!"
My recent visit to Table Mountain Casino left me with mixed feelings due to a combination of positive and negative experiences. While the new look of the casino impressed me with its open and airy ambiance, the issue of rude staff and service left a sour taste in my mouth.
On multiple occasions, I encountered unfriendly and unhelpful staff members. Simple requests such as obtaining a new players card, asking for directions to the restaurants, or requesting a bottled water were met with a surprising level of rudeness and indifference. It is disheartening when basic customer inquiries are met with such negativity, creating a hostile atmosphere for guests. The casino management should address these staffing issues and prioritize customer service to enhance the overall experience.
Despite the service shortcomings, the physical transformation of the casino was commendable. The new look exuded a fresh and modern vibe, a stark contrast to the previous smoky environment. The open and airy layout was a welcome change, and it was a relief to be able to enjoy the gaming experience without the overpowering smell of smoke. The effort put into the renovation is evident, and it certainly adds value to the overall casino experience.
However, it is worth noting that the casino is currently facing some limitations. One of the notable shortcomings is the lack of a liquor license, which restricts guests from enjoying alcoholic beverages to relax or complement their dining experience. This is an area that the management should address promptly to enhance the overall offerings and accommodate the preferences of their patrons.
Having visited Table Mountain Casino multiple times since the opening of its new location, I must say that each visit has shown slight improvements. However, the ongoing staffing issues remain a significant concern. It is disheartening that the negative experiences outweigh the positive aspects of the casino.
One positive highlight was the breathtaking view from the 12th floor at the teppanyaki restaurant. The scenic vistas added a touch of elegance and made the dining experience memorable. While the prices may be slightly higher compared to city establishments, the added cost can be justified by the stunning view that accompanies the meal.
Considering the available options in the valley, my last visit to Table Mountain Casino did not leave me eager to return. With two other casino locations to choose from, I would prioritize those over returning to this particular establishment until the staffing issues and service concerns are properly addressed.
Table Mountain Casino's new look and improved atmosphere are commendable. However, the ongoing issues with rude staff and service detract from the overall experience. Addressing these concerns and obtaining a liquor license would greatly enhance the appeal of the casino. For now, I would recommend exploring alternative casino options in the valley until improvements are made at Table...
Read moreSeriously I will tell you this much I am a American Indian myself my tribe owns Harrah's casinos and we'll you want to be like a top dog then add alot more drink Cart ladies to the floor seriously Because you only having the one That never comes around asked what soda you want seriously. You realize some people may be diabetic in your facility and putting the cafeteria in the far back of the casino was very not very smart on your part. Just saying and we'll you have a hotel great do you have accommodations for your hotel guest. I'm going to venture out to say no you do not because do you have a spa room service at all probably not. Big casino chains generally offer people who win high payouts a room for free not one time have I ever been offered a room at all and not to mention no casino I know of doesn't give you all your change seriously I did report it to TANIF because this is sad you bring in a bunch of 1 dollar games you get rid of the $0.05 bar reels as well as the roulette computer screened casino game that you can sit down there and have 10 people in your entourage I'll play roulette with a host. And you take out this game seriously I don't think I would have done that at all. Not too mention but when people kick the machines and beat on them seriously and someone complains about this incident is messing with their bonus reels cause the dumb girl besides me was obviously high or drunk and you did absolutely nothing to help me get my bonuses back and I had a video showing I had 27 free games and won so far $67.08 and had $13.85 in the machine she started hitting her machine next to me and we'll it goes from 27 free games to 7 free spins and $67.08 in winnings to $43 and the $313.85 I had in the game now says $87.00 so you do nothing to help me out at all and you don't have security remove her from the casino. And we'll it's okay though my wife knows of her in town of Madera CA and she got beat up seriously cause we told her sister about it and she handled it in house and had you done your job you would have known she was only 17 years old. Seriously you need to not allow children in your facility and you need to add more drink services to the floor cause if anyone was diabetic they could die so seriously you should fix this situation immediately seriously cause I wasn't impressed to say the least. It was something I definitely expected to see here in this area seriously couldn't wait to get home and tell someone seriously it was sad to know that you are doing in money and not making people winners and you took all night long rigged games All the time and low payouts and just the whole damn experience didn't sit...
Read moreI don't gamble. I went to the teppenyaki restaurant on the 12th floor. My, what an experience that was. Still, there are a couple of things I love about this casino:
Non-smoking I had NO IDEA that a NON-SMOKING CASINO EXISTED! They do have a section that permits it, but it's enclosed. Patrons like myself that just want the food aren't subjected to asthma attacks. For a gambler that values their physical health, this would be a spot to check out. Even though I don't gamble, I actually had fun walking with family around the perimeter and just checking out the facility (mainly to see if there's any other restaurants worth trying).
The location Who wouldn't enjoy some mountain scenery? If you get just the right table at their teppenyaki restaurant, you can see the actual table mountain for which the casino was named after. The teppenyaki restaurant also has a bar attached to it where you are permitted 3 drinks per hour (I don't drink, I'm stating my observations about the rules). Obviously, they care about your safety. Oh, and a nice wraparound balcony/open patio where you can really experience some panoramic views and take selfies at 12 stories high! For the right person, you could order a drink and just take in the outside view. 🙂
Friendliness All of the staff we ran across were very pleasant and seemed to like their job. I get the sense that they treat their employees very well here. I'm sure being able to breathe in the building is certainly a nice bonus. You could ask anybody any question, and you wouldn't feel awkward.
Seriously. If you want a good bite to eat, go here. I cannot comment on the gambling perks, other than that I noticed an abundance of slot machines, a shiny roulette wheel, some poker tables, and a high limit section.
I don't gamble; but, if I did, I'd do it here, just because I can actually breathe. I went into this building expecting to be slapped across the face by big tobacco. Boy, was I gladly surprised by the...
