My brother and I went here for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere was nice. Not quite as fancy as the food prices would have you believe. The staff were very nice. Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant and made us feel welcome. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny here. I had the 16oz Prime rib and ordered it medium rare. It came almost medium well. It was still pretty tender considering the doneness but not as juicy as it would have been if cooked as ordered. It had no flavor though and seemed like they didn't season it at all. I should have ordered the ribeye instead. My brother said that his ribeye was decent. Not worth what he paid though. The sides were all pretty good but way over priced.
Now for the really bad part. My brother asked one of the staff if we could go out on the balcony. She said yes. So we went out there and stayed for about five minutes. When we tried to get back into the restaurant, the doors were locked. We tried several times but there were locked. We couldn't get any staff to notice us and there was one table with a few people but they either didn't see us or didn't care. To the side, we noticed there were stairs, so we took them. after we closed the door, we noticed that it was a set of service stairs, not meant for customers. But the door was locked too and we were stuck. so we went all the way down and the stairs opened up the back of the casino. We had to walk all the way around to the front, since we were parked in the garage. There is no sidewalk either, so cars were driving past us as we walked back up the hill, at night. Not very cool.
My rating is based solely on the dining portion and not the locked doors. I just wanted to mention this so people are aware.
I really don't think I will return due to the price of the food and the quality we got. Unseasoned food and not cooked how asked. This place is VERY expensive. If they are going to charge these kind of prices, they need to step up their game. I can get a better steak...
Read moreFor our first time here we attended a conference dinner for work. The filet mignon steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and also the cheesecake was the BEST. Several of the other attendees said the same thing. Both items made me dream of returning and we couldn’t wait! So we planned a visit for our anniversary just recently. Sadly I would have kept the five stars rating for the food but I had to take two stars off because my steak came very burnt (inedible) on both sides, as well as the potato’s were very burnt and I couldn’t eat them, not sure why it got served this way. My husband’s bone-in steak was too salty, as well as the potatos that weren’t burnt were overly salted too. Also both of us have food allergies which we told them and the waitress made it clear they don’t do substitutions despite at the bottom of the menu it tells customers to let the staff know about allergies 🤷♀️ so that was frustrating. She did concede after talking to the kitchen and did a substitution for him (he is lactose intolerant so they gave steamed veggies instead of creamed spinach, thank you!), but that was after initially refusing. I also had told her I needed to be gluten free & bread crumbs were on the creamed spinach, which gave me a bad reaction afterwards.
I was hopeful this would be our favorite steakhouse in fresno, but sadly after this experience I’m not sure if we will be returning. We would like to maybe give it one more chance? I hope they will be a little more sensitive to customers will food allergies, not burn the steak & potato’s next time (I asked for medium rare), and use a little less salt in the future.

Read moreSteer clear of this restaurant. Their food is not worth the price they are charging, excuse me, gouging you for. The two times I've been there, I've since ordered their fillet mignon ($50), ribeye ($58), prime porterhouse ($80), prime rib ($47), crab cakes ($23) and the E.L Burger ($22). To put it bluntly, Heirlooms $29 ribeye is better tasting than all of the steaks I listed here. Fleming's fillet mignon is 10x better and a little cheaper so might as well go there if you're going to spend this price.
The porterhouse I ordered I had asked for medium rare and it came out well done. I gave it back and had them make a new one and they did. The new one came out medium rare, yes, but they scored it. So my new porterhouse came with cuts made already and that pretty much destroyed any juiciness. It was dry and chewy and the center had no flavor. The other steaks were the same in terms of flavor. The surface was well seasoned but as you reached the center, it was bland.
The E.L Burger is by far the worst, expensive burger I have ever had. The meat patty had no flavor. Burger King's Whopper had more flavor I kid you not. Spare yourself $22.
If the prices were all more than half off, I'd say the food matches the price, but I cannot give it more than 2 stars at this elevated, but disappointing expectations. The servers were nice and sincere though, so kudos for them hiring some good people. Wish they hired...
