Cypress Park — Attraction in Coconut Creek

I reserved this park November 2023 since it has a big pavilion, picnic area with a grill and nice playground. When I called to book despite a smooth booking process, the receptionist was so nice and a friendly park ranger, my experience turned sour. The park seemed untreated for mosquitoes. I was throwing my daughter’s first birthday so there was several parents and children. I had to go to HomeDepot to get some repellent spray for the area, bug spray for my guest and citronella candles. Despite those attempts the mosquitoes persisted. It was challenging, and if I hadn't already set up, I would have considered leaving. It would have been helpful if this information was communicated during the booking process as passersby walking their pets did come by to inform us of the mosquitos. Small cozy park, well maintained. They have 4 pavillions you can reserve, charcoal grills, a playground for kids and restrooms. Free parking, no entrance fee.
